The only thing better than Kevin Spacey in the White House would be Kevin Spacey in the White House wearing spandex

I want a dark crimson outfit, with subtle horns. I presume the eye holes will be wide enough to see the actor's eyes. I hope that the club/sticks have some practical tricks.

I'm wondering how they'll do the eyes. I thought that contact lenses would look cool (my suit concept played with that idea). But I think they'll probably end up doing something similar to the Affleck film in that regard.

I believe they were red in the movie right? They should try to make them black or maybe even white to make them stand out from the rest of the costume.

I remember seeing some artwork that had daredevils mask with no eye openings at all. I thought that was pretty different.

Not sure I'd want that. Then people would be tipped off that he doesn't need to see.

As for the costume a few pages back that The Question finds great I think we need to keep in mind that it is art and obviously looks good but translated to live action would look like something out of Super or Kick-Ass.

I don't think that's a bad thing. To me, a movie costume "looking good" has less to do with what is the most traditionally aesthetically pleasing, and more to do with what best embodies what the character and the story are about.

You just know he'll have a trenchcoat and combat boots to be "realistic"........:whatever:

1: I honestly wouldn't mind a trench coat on Daredevil. Trenchcoats serve the same basic purpose that capes do as far as aesthetics go, with the added bonus of being much more manageable on a movie set and having pockets. I think a trench coat could, in theory, be a nice addiction to the look.

2: What kind of boots would you prefer?

I for one would be happy with as direct a translation of the comics suit as possible, though I don't know how likely that is.

As long as its a protosuit, it's all good, but if that's indeed the direction they're going for, I'm not really diggin it.

If by that you mean the direction of the comics, then yes.

If this garbage suit is around for more than one episode, I'm out.

I don't read Daredevil, so I have no clue. I just saw this on another site, and came here to comment.

Still excited for the show, though.

Well okey. This black suit is pretty much lifted from the prequel comic named "Man without fear". He does however change to the classic red one and it's pretty much a given that we will get just that later on.

So if it's there for two episodes then he changes to his normal red suit. No matter how good the show is, you're out?

Good to know.

Thanks
