No problem man. I hope they dont do another shocker/montana identity change on any more villains and whats the point of making tombstone be big man whe they have foswell who is the comics big man in the show. It makes foswell purpose of being there pointless when they could have easily had another reporter character like ben urich or someone else in foswell's place.

Like Kingpin, I assume Urich is under Daredevil license as well, but any other of the group of reporters could have been used if they weren't planning on making Foswell the Big Man. Main reason why I still think it's him.

Yea that is a good point and i do hope he is Big man no need this time to change villain's identity it worked for shocker since they didnt have herman schultz in the show yet. So i hope either they plan to set up tombstone being big man so bigman can take his out of the game or he is just working for the big man and all that.

Well, Tombstone being Big Man is cool, but I doubt that's what happens. As you said, Foswell is in the show, so it seems most likely he is Big Man.

Oh man, I loved this episode and seeing Mary Jane was so awesome!

Man I loved this episode! From the pretty long fight scene to introduction of Tombstone, to the first appearance of Mary Jane directly from the comics! Awesome!!!

Best episode yet.

Love Tombstone's design, he looks nice in a suit, makes him seem more badass. Tombstone PWND Spidey at the end.

Oh, and this MJ is hot.

Excellent episode again.

LOVED the feel of the Rhino on a rampage. LOVED IT! That is why I have Always wanted to see the Rhino in the Live action movies. He would be so awesome because he is such a visual powerhouse if done right... and the effects would be off the hook, or should be.

That said, I sincerely hope that Marvel's team making the Hulk got to watch a sneak preview of the Rhino's Rampage, to take notes for the Hulk and Abom's epic battle.

Big, Powerful Rhino vs. small, agile Spider-Man... = Greatness, especially in the Movie... IF IT IS EVER to be.

Not real happy about Tombstone instead of Kingpin. But we knew that was coming, or in Kingpin's situation... not coming. Pity.

MJ's appearance. Good. Wish they would of waited and developed Peter/Gwen's story line more. But alas, this is going more along the lines of Ultimate vs ASM. Pity. ASM storyline triangle with Gwen+Peter+MJ... throw in the Goblin and Gwen's Death is CLASSIC. And everything else falls EXTREMELY short IMO.

Looking forward to next episode with one drawback. GG.. too soon, to underdeveloped IMO. I know this is a cartoon and all, but still. Like I posted in another thread.

============================

That said, a couple of things they need to do, but WON'T. We're talking cartoons here, with limited attention spans I guess. 1) Delveop Harry's and Peter's relationship/firendship MORE. 2) Develop more (some?) of a relationship with Peter and Norman. Show Peter seeing some of the dark side to Harry's and Norman's relationship, and have him balance that with his relationship with Aunt May and Uncle Ben. 3) Introduce "da gang" to the Osborn lifestyle more.. I would LOVE to see a scene where Norman has amensia (down the line), and invites the gang over for the dinner party... where Peter releasizes that Norman is losing it... and remembering... the ole Cat and Mouse game.

and lastly 4) FOR THE LOVE OF ... introduce a TO BE CONTINUED.. preferably with the Goblin Saga. DO NOT intro a villain and clean it up ALL in ONE frickin episode. Sheesh. The Goblin Saga deserves that. Norman's and Peter's "dance"... deserves that. Cartoon or not.

But alas.. as I said... they.... "won't".

Pity. Cartoon or not. The show deserves better. Not that it is not entertaining... just could be Greatness.

====================

But alas, full steam ahead into the Goblin saga it seems. Pity. But still jazzed about seeing the Goblin regardless, fully developed or not.

I am so into this series right now. This episode was a great balance of action, romance, drama, and comedy...I really can't think of anything I wanted to be improved upon.

Pretty cool episode, I actually liked that Tombstone is Big Man...but the way Foswell was acting, makes me thing too that Tombstone is just a front or decoy and Foswell is the real deal. So I wont be surprised if they go Batman Begins on this subject :hyper:

They don't really need a TO BE CONTINUED yet, because the whole show so far is really just one story, that doesn't end.

Not true. T-Rust me. It will get old quick IF they continue to intro and wrap up villains ALL in ONE show. Especially IF they do that with the Goblin. I think they will not. As in Spidey will NOT defeat the Goblin in the episdoe, as in Police have him in custody.

I just wish they would of developed Norman's character more, leading up to this, cartoon or not.

Same with Gwen's development, prior to intro'ing MJ.

Oh well. I will sit back and enjoy the ride while it lasts.

This was definitely worth the delay from last week because this episode was certainly the best of the series thus far, or at least up there with the Lizard episode. Certainly, Spidey's brawl with the Rhino was the most knock-down, drag out fight sequence we've got yet. And the Rhino's weakness not being able to sweat properly because of his costume? That makes so much sense I'm surprised the comics never utilized it.

Then of course there's the Big Man's identity being revealed as Tombstone. Really didn't see that one coming at all (although the Mr. Linclon should have been a big clue) and it's really great choice on the creators part. Coupled with the voice talents of Kevin Michael Richardson and you can hear the cold, calculating menace in his words.

And of course, let's not forget Mary Jane being Peter's surprise date at the end. Not only was everything leading up to it and nice play on the original comics, but the delivery of the "Face it Tiger, you just hit the Jackpot" was quite sultry, like Kim Basinger from L.A. Confidential (Guess Flash is going to have to dress like a cheerleader for a month after all:oldrazz:).

Also, but does anyone else think that Harry overheard his dad talking to Hammerhead, hence the malicious grin he had on his face? Wonder what they'll do with that?

Now that the arc is changing there won't be as many villain of the week episodes, because now Spidey knows that Big man is behind most villains.

HELL YES !!!!!!! Hubba, hubba, hubba!

Well we dont know for sure is tombstone is really big man. I hope he isnt and its foswell who is in the show this time there is no need to change the identity when the character is actually in the show. It really defeats the purpose as i said to have foswell in the show if he isnt the big man. Now me and other think tombstone is either getting set up by big man to take the fall so the world thinks he is big man and so big man can still be working and all that. Or he is working with big man and like someone said he could be a right had man for him like hammerhead is. And plus when spidey went to tombstone he clearly said he isnt him and doesnt know who he is. So in the end i really hope it ends up to be revealed it is foswell and not tombstone because as i said there is no need for this identity change.

Yet another homage to the Spider-man movies only instead of Green Goblin looking for Peter it's the Rhino. JJJ also defends him just like in the movie.

The jackpot entrance should be the entrance of MJ in every Spider-man adaptation.

Anybody else loving the subtle ways this show makes fun of itself?

"This always works in cartoons!" In an episode that sPat in pretty much every law of physics.

"Grant! Brant! Our dates names rhyme!"

"Where do I find a deserted place in a city of 8 million?" Meanwhile, the streets are empty.

Did anybody notice Captain Stacy in front of the Daily Bugle? I mean it really did look like him.

Foswell played the role. He even said something along the lines of telling Peter that he believes someone else is the BigMan. All I could think to myself was " yeah it's you."
