Yeah. Guess what is also much more deeper than what it seems on the surface? Many superhero movies, shows and comics.Sure on the surface... but it's a much more deeper show than that. And it's also critically well received.
Saw this on the DC reddit page. It seems that the Waynes are running out of that theater at the end of the trailer.

In this version, Bruce's parents died during the clown riots of 81.Nice twist on the usual origin.
Horrifying shot.
Aye there's a clear case of people chomping at the bit on social media for this film to cause a meltdown amongst the fan base. For example I seen one tweet from some idiot from BMD basically saying the fan base will prove to be demented regardless of the reaction at Venice be it positive or negative.Some people celebrating early. This movie is an easy target and all could go wrong. Calm down. And most importantly, the director hasn't proved himself as a brilliant filmmaker yet.
Wait 2 days.
Why?Random note but ;
In retrospect, I'm actually SO glad we didn't get Alec Baldwin as Thomas Wayne in this movie.
Like, SUPER ****ing glad.

It hasn't effected my enjoyment of the run up at all. I've loved it and Phoenix playing Joker is a dream for me.Who cares. No movie will ever be liked by everyone especially on the internet where the hipster motif (this is popular so I hate it) runs wild. The movie will be fine.
It amazes me how often fans of this genre refuse to allow themselves to enjoy the run up to a film even when all signs point to it being a success.
He looks like a ghost in a way
