I see it is at 69%. Surprised it is that low. I may see it tomorrow night, but it depends. If I don't, then have to wait until likely mid week or possibly next weekend
I get the impression from a lot of the negative reviews that this film really isn’t all that radical or different after all. This would be disappointing. It’s supposed freshness and daring are it’s main selling points.
Ah well, find out tomorrow!
Its the type of cruelly ironic joke that the Joker would totally get a kick out of.Weeks of complaining that the movie wasn't certified yet, and when it finally does get certified it loses it in a couple of days.

I can't wait for the "Rotten Tomatoes doesn't matter anymore!" takes after endlessly posting about it.

Hey now that is my take...and I havent posted about RT since jemoen got banned and even then it was just to counteract his ridiculous takes on things![]()
But yeah it is funny to watch people flip on this. Though to be fair both sides of the argument tend to move the goalposts around here
edit: Since I am seeing it tomorrow I will say "see ya on the other side" and remind everyone no matter what happens the world wont end. I will give my review when I return!
Now I have to see it.I loved it. The Golden Lion win is well deserved.
I'm not surprised about today 's US critics' lukewarm reception, considering their tastes (it's not hopeful, uplifting, light or PC).
I'll say it again, if they don't want to commit to a sequel, continue this world and story through DC's Black Label comics that they are doing right now. That way you dont need to bring Phoenix and Phillips back and we could see how this world evolves moving forward
Enjoy !At long last im bout to watch this in a few minutes. LETS GOOOO

So does that mean the critics that liked Joker are somehow more relevant than the ones that didn’t?I’m so angry at the critics.
They’re making themselves irrelevant.
