I actually wanted Pitt BEFORE Hannibal but his Mason definitely strengthened that feeling.

I feel like WB is probably going to go after Jake Gyllenhaal for this. How crazy would it be if they cast Bale? Both he and Keaton seem like equally as good a choice for Joker as they were Batman.

Jake was in Prince of Persia, and he’s only had nice things to say about comic book movies.

I think it’s a matter of time before he plays a comic book character

If this is a one off I can see a big name like Gyllenhaal or Leo getting this one

I just remembered Todd Phillips did that GG Allin documentary. He's got a lot of cred in the punk community for that.

For some reason I totally support him for this movie. He shouldn't be judged by Hangover. He's way more than that. I think Todd Phillips and Scorsese is a brilliant pairing

That's the exact reason why I have a little more faith in him, but people do still judge him for Hangover.

Very pleased with this, yes there's a very good chance they'll significantly deviate from the source material but as long as they capture the essence of the character then I'm good. Easily my most anticipated DCEU film now and if they succeed with this then it opens the doors for other(Bat) villain flicks.

I have no faith in Letoker, he's just Harley's boy toy, WB recognized that he's a hopeless case.

After seeing the two seasons of "Preacher", i gotta say that Joseph Gilgun would be my top pick for the Joker. He was absolutely great as Cassidy and in my opinion he does look like the Joker from "The Killing Joke". It´d be amazing to see him as the Clown Prince of Crime!

Joker is getting old, recycled too much and there does NOT need to be a origin film for the character since they did it few times already such as Batman movie, Suicide Squad, some animated. Joker is great character but it's getting tiresome using it all the time.
