"The Joker" in development with Todd Phillips and Martin Scorsese attached?

I'd welcome it. I would wonder what the Batmobile would look like. Taking place in the 80's, I wonder if it would look similar to the Burton Batmobile or it could reference the comics from that time period by giving him a bat themed sports car.

This Joker is no relation to Leto’s Joker in DCEU.

So, if Batman were to turn up in this Joker movie, then we’d have two Jokers and two Batmen, from completely seperate universes, running around at the same time at the cinema.

I do wonder how much of a batman presence there will be, if any at all. My guess is they alter his origin with the red hood stuff and end the movie in a reverse Batman Begins kind of way, where he finally becomes the full fledged joker without batman causing it and instead he hears about some giant guy in a bat costume running around the city fighting crime.

The talent involved is top notch so I trust whatever they wanna go for. Even though I enjoy the mystery surrounding the character, I'm willing to sit down and find out what they're going for.

I don't think that it would be such a big deal if we had two Jokers...But hopefully starting today Joaquer will be our only Joker!

I wouldn't be mad if they scrapped the 1980s crime drama idea and just made it a DC comics styled remake of The Room. Joker kills himself at the end because of his relationship troubles with Harley.
