Everything about this project shows how clueless WB really is. I mean they only announce and greenlight Justice League after the success of Avengers.

That really shows the reasons behind this project.

Lots of movies are announced and greenlight after success of other similar movies. So what? I don't think the other projects are better of worst than the former.
If by your logic, The Voice producers are clueless bcos it was only greenlighted after the success of American Idol. Same goes to the tons of follow up Vampire, Zombie, superheroes movies.

Also, its not like I care about Martian Manhunter, but how is it a rip off of anything in Avengers? That makes no sense at all. Is there an alien in Avengers that is green in color and has flight, heat vision and intangibility?
The only thing that is remotely similar for Martian Manhunter and anything in Avengers is that they're both aliens in both films. I guess any other superhero film that has an alien would be ripping off Avengers.

Same goes to Thanos and Darkseid. I guess they're ripping off Green Lantern and Watchmen cos they had an alien invasion first.

But no, i can't say i would mind if they went that route. They would have to win me over big time with Cyborg instead of giving us Martian Manhunter though. If Drax the Destroyer and the Guardians of the Galaxy is too reminiscent of him then i understand. Or if they want to give the new comics much more meaning by translating it to live-action. Then i wont complain, im not 7. Ill have to adapt.

Just don't care for Cyborg. Martian isn't a fav of mine either but he's much cooler, has more history to him, and more useful. Cyborg feels too random. His backstory is kinda boring too, not that theyll need to show it

I think the problem with MM is that he is too overpowered. Itll be very difficult to have him in a team without having insanely powerful foes. Plus I dont think MM has resonated much with the audience. He cant even launch his own comics for a long period of time compared to other members like Green Arrow, Hawkman and even the Atom outsold him.

I wouldn't say a lot of weight, he just needs to tone up and lose a bit of weight.

Not really, though gotta say, haven't read enough of it to give it a chance, but I'll just say what I've heard about it doesn't really motivate me to read it.

I think I prefer Cyborg over Martian Manhunter because before I knew of Justice League, my intro the the non-Batman/Superman/Wonder Woman characters was through Super Friends reruns on Cartoon Network. I don't think I even knew of Martian Manhunter before the cartoon. I guess I see him introduced here and by the end of the movie he leaves the JL to join the Teen Titans, and hopefully that will push to get that movie out of the "in development" stage; and then he'd be replaced with Martian Manhunter.

Sethypants: I don't think the JLA would be getting together if they weren't facing insanely powerful world threatening foes......so I guess a telepathic shape-shifting martian would be a good ally to have.

Not that I get into the 'this person is too powerful, this person is under-powered' arguments, but if you think MM is too powerful Wtf is superman?.. Superman has lasers coming out of his eyes, x-ray vision, super-hearing, can fly, super strong AND has super-speed; with only one main weakness. you can use the overpowered argument for any body if you wanted to.

I ignore stupid assessment's like that the same way I ignored posters saying that Joe Manganiello's nose hooked too low for Superman(when he was being considered).
Like I said before, I want a new batsuit, cowl included. Pace does not have the strongest jawline, that's true, my answer is I don't care. It's nothing that truly matters for the character, and if compensations need to be made, the way the cowl is made can work to make it seem more square-jawed.
Christian Bale doesn't have that square jaw either, yet he was a fan fave for Batman.

If he really got the part I think it's obvious they would tailor the suit to his specific features a bit. I don't think they'd go "Found Bales old suit..Make it work"

You didn't exactly ignore my assessment.

I get what you are saying, but I assume the purpose of your manip is to help people visualize the actors in each given role, and all I'm saying is for me it had the opposite effect re: Pace. I'm on board with acting chops being more important than a note-by-note resemblance to the Wayne of the comics, but it would also be nice to have both. Given that Pace hasn't been cast, I don't find little things like that too nit-picky at this stage.

Sounds like a major longshot. He's basically doing guest roles and glorified extra work at this point.

You're probably better off finding an actor with a better resume more on par with the other castmembers you chose. He doesn't really fit.
