Affleck is even better, Gal is the woman we fell in love in WW, Ezra is the unique voice, Mamoa...I want to see his solo film NOW! Ray is the secret weapon, he’s phenomal...said this before I met him, lol. And Cavill...people will finally get the Superman they’ve always wanted.

Good, not great. Heroes are good, the villain sucks. Story is thin and simple but has heart.

I like how someone said it is still a Zack Snyder film! That makes me happy and I love how they all agree that every character is awesome! Just be an episode of JL or one of those animated films and i will be happy!!!

Overall yes. Consensus is that its "good/fine" - not a train wreck at all. Safe story with great characters/interactions and a lot of fun. I see this scoring well on RT as I don't think I've seen anyone come out and say it was "bad" or that they wouldn't recommend it.

The good news is a strong sequel can blow this one out of the water.

I didn't expect the movie to get so many positive reviews so fast ( I'm not getting my hopes up though - waiting for more). However it is fustrating to see that the movie's issue (at least to some critics) is the narrative, yet gain. I'm hoping that WB will get rid of Goyer for GL, please.

This is great so far. Most of the complaints (lame villain, messy plot) are things I already expected, but it's wonderful so many people are loving the characters.

So the heroes work, but the villain is **** and there is some weak CG. I think that falls in line with what we expected.
