Horror 'The Last of Us' HBO Series

She is on some Amazon show called the Wilds. There is lots of traction supposedly that she has been cast as Abby already on Social Media. I don’t think that is true though.

She could be fitting, I have no idea as I've never seen her act, but she really fits the stereotypical collective fan casting of an existing property because those really only have one criteria - look like the original character.

Can't wait

One big improvement for season 2 is that they're already shooting in Canada which can easily be shaped into Seattle.

It’s going to suck having no new episode tonight.
That goes for HBO in general since TLOU was originally 10 episodes, hence nothing on their slate tonight.

Except for when the action moves to sunny California for the finale. Honestly, people have said that the budget needs to be a lot bigger to capture the second game and I agree to an extent but given that the majority of the game takes place in one region should keep the budget under control. They can use a lot of the same tricks they did for S1 but there are a couple curveballs that they'll need to pull off, like the repurposed Seahawks Stadium acting as WLF HQ.

I don't know much about her but she's got a good potential look for Abby.

Yeah, but Yellowjackets is coming next week to save us.
I literally just finished YellowJackets and started Friday. Good show. I will be watching Day 1 next Sunday…….

Yellowjackets is fantastic! I've loved it from day one. :D

Ok thanks, will keep an eye out. I don’t usually browse much on Prime and go to it for specific shows. Quite happy to do research for potential future castings though. :D

Oh wow, why did they cut it down from 10 to 9 episodes?

Don't know if anyone's suggested it
But for Abby, they should really look at Katy O'brien from this week's Mandalorian

She's built, looks like Abby facially, and is just ethnically ambiguous enough to really rile up the incels

Now whether she's a better actress than the girl from the Wilds is debatable, but she def looks the part a bit more

Only problem with that is Katy O'Brian is much older than Ellie.

Yeah well Abby [looked like] an adult in the flashback in TLOU2, so she would be a good bit older

Only thing is would it ever be believable Bella Ramsey could beat her up? lol

This isn't really a fancasting since I don't have a dog in the race of who plays Abby. However, I saw a recent article about Kate Winslet's daughter Mia Threapleton following in her mother's footsteps as an actress and what got me thinking is how much she resembles Abby.

Granted, I have no input whatsoever about her as an actress since I haven't seen her work but she could maybe fit the mold. She's also 22 so the slight age gap between her and Bella Ramsey would be on point.

I have said it from the start we could definitely get 3 seasons out of the 2nd game. The flashbacks alone could be a season, both Abby's and Ellie's
though I hope they keep the fact that Abby is the doctors daughter a secret until the big moment.
. Then end the 2nd season on said big moment. Then seasons 3 and 4 are Ellie and Abbys parts of the main game.

And that's without expanding on all the stuff we have mentioned. Even Lev and his sister could have more time spent on them. We don't see Lev
confront or kill his mother for example
.
I think 3 seasons is excessive especially considerign how this first one was paced. It cut out alot of fat and barely had any filler; it just told the story. I thnk Part 2 can be told in one season and want it to. They can up the episode count to 13. Alot of thst game was a retread, just told from a different perspective. I dont think it would work to translate to a tv show bc it will feel like too much of a rehash without the gaming/interactive moments to make the experience different. They can een do what Stranger Things did last season by breaking it up. Season 2A be 7 episodes and then come back for 2B's 6 episodes. I really dont think 18 or up to 27 episodes is needed to tell that story

The whole point of part 2 is the different perspective so I wouldn't cut any of that. It's perfect enough for 2 seasons even if you take out the filler and the repetitive "game" scenes.

I think 3 seasons total for the whole series is about perfect. People always think longer is better with TV, but I feel the opposite. Especially with this. The nice thing about Season 1 is each episode felt like its own thing before moving on. Hopefully they keep that same feel.

At that point it doesnt need to be 2 seasons but rather an extended 1 season as I proposed
