Oh god someone made Cordyceps mushroom coffee?!?

who gives af about the vocal minority? Those characters were great. The video game crowd didn’t seem to like it, at least the vocal minority.
I agree. Just wondering what HBO might do with them. I have some ideas that I will save for after season 2 is finished.who gives af about the vocal minority? Those characters were great.
I believe they've stated their intentions to adapt the second game over three seasons, which makes sense because the second game breaks pretty neatly into three parts. You'd need to bulk up the third part a lot to make a full season of it, but it's a pretty neat break. The game is about 20-ish hours. What would be the third season ending theoretically would be a not very good ending, I'd bet. But the game and presumably fourth season ends in a way that's simultaneously not leaning on a sequel but you know there's plenty of space for one and I assume they'll end up doing it at some point.I’m not familiar with the second game, I thought that Season 2 would adapt it fully as Season 1 did with the first.
Is the game bigger that it would need two seasons? And since there’s not a third game, does it wrap up the story enough that Season 3 could be the end of the series?
Avoiding spoilers obviously, but can be vague lol
It's twice the length of the first game so it makes sense. And it does kind of wrap things up, though I'm expecting them to continue the story further with the series.I’m not familiar with the second game, I thought that Season 2 would adapt it fully as Season 1 did with the first.

Not to mention there’s a ton of backstory for certain characters and factions that’s only alluded to in art or writings or didn’t even make it into the final game. For example, a ton of planned backstory revolving around Isaac didn’t make the final cut, and I presume that’s what they’re going to be using in this series (sort of like what they did for the “Left Behind” episode in season 1 with the “American Dreams” comic, which explores her life at the school before the events of the Left Behind DLC.).It's twice the length of the first game so it makes sense. If they were to wrap up Part II's storyline in season 3 it could possibly be done in 10 episodes with more than a few of them being at least 80 minutes in length, but I think they'll likely keep it going to season 4.View attachment 129069

‘The Last Of Us’ Renewed For Season 3 At HBO Ahead Of Season 2 Premiere
The Last of Us has been renewed for a third season, ahead of the Season 2 premieret.co
If they were to somehow combine what happens during the time jump that we didn't see in the game between Seattle and the last leg of the game in Santa Barbara, I could see it.I still think the whole Santa Braraba portion can be it's own season.
