The Last of Us

It doesn't seem like that's a full review. It's just for the single player.

Well, I haven't watched it. I didn't want to spoil anything. No matter how little. So i just looked for the score and assumed they simply didn't give it one and just wanted people to play it. I don't even read the written reviews. I simply trust Naughty Dog completely on this one.

Im not the least bit surprised. Naughty Dog is responsible for the best new series of games this generation in Uncharted, so the fact that they have another masterpiece on their hands after cranking out 3 already, is just not a surprise. No one in the business comes remotely close to delivering character performances the way ND does. They just get better every time out.

And they were working entirely from scratch with the first Uncharted. Switching over to the PS4 though, they'll keep their current engine they used for Uncharted and Last of Us, and just tweak and improve it as necessary. Their first PS4 game will be bloody brilliant.

Wow I've been reading through some of these reviews. This game already has 25 perfect scores, amazing. Can't wait until the 14th!

Wow, Metacritic lists 49 Positives reviews. Zero Mixed or Negative. Even ol' Jim Sterling from Destructoid gives it a 10/10.

Can't wait!

There is more to The Last of Us than just combat and "emotional" story tropes. To touch on its setpiece moments, to detail its beautiful changes in pace, would be to spoil too much. It cannot be said enough, however, that Naughty Dog's new best creation is complete, and when I say complete, I mean it to pay the highest of compliments. I do not want more from The Last of Us: I do not need more. As the last line was uttered and the credits ushered in the close, I was done. The Last of Us had achieved everything it needed to achieve in order to provide me with everything I wanted.

And it ended perfectly.

I hate how people are *****es. I foolishly was reading comments in IGNs review and someone just blurted out 2 major spoilers which I really hope was just made up in an attempt to troll, but ugh I can't help but feel this is going to ruin my first play experience with it

this is why always say keep a way from comments from youtube and IGN. they attract the worst elements of the web. in there case it's the elements of the stupid ,*****ey , jerky and sleazy and that's all from the commentors that talk on them. yeah there a few rare smartone but their few and far in between with those two places.

As excited as I was for this game I was considering waiting for the GOTY edition with all the DLC, but now I don't know that I'll want to wait that long for it.

I sometimes wait for GOTY Editions too. It's what I'm doing with Borderlands 2 right now. Still haven't played it. But The Last of Us is a game where I just can't wait.

Seems like Naughty Dog is becoming the Pixar of the gaming industry with this game added to their list of hits.

Lets just hope they never put out a "Cars" game...
