The Last Stand new uniform

But what would you preffer? only one uniform for the x-men, or a few, deppending on the missions, activities, etc?

Well I would prefer them to not all hafta wear the same black leather jumpsuit (BLJ), I would prefer them to have some individuality/colors from the comics that reflect their personalities/powers while keeping within a consistent theme and set of design parameters to show they are a team.

I like the leather look but I'm assuming the BLJs aren't off-the-rack items Charles picked up at the local leatherwear store. Someone makes them, I'm assuming a tailor. So why not have them more tailor-made to reflect the comics?

It would be more visually interesting and make more sense when they got their uniform if each member had some input in their uniform's design (other than piping color), it would be a badge of honor with the added plus of making them recognizable as X-Men.

P.S. The thing I wonder about the field suits is what exactly do the women expect to keep in their zippered chest pockets? Loose change? They look a little "snug" to store anything.

In all honesty, seeing more than one person wearing the uniform in the same scene, makes me glad that they had only Storm wearing that costume. They are even MORE uniform than the leather suits and for most people who want some individuality, these suits take a step backwards from that. It's kind of boring and yet the concept is interesting, they all have this field uniform...think of civilians looking over a battlefield and seeing this mass of people wearing the same clothing...they may think an army was coming...but I still stick with seeing this uniform never again, in a training session, or on a rack (and I'm not talking about Storm's or Rogue's).

Would have you liked to see it more times in X3? Or would like to see it in X4....

Well it was the only thing I liked about the movie so yes, I'd like to see it more. It's just so comicbooky.

only on some of the leather outfits it would be nice if the colored piping with slightly brighter so you could actually see it on them (on film, not in promo pics, promo pics you can see it fine)

The costume looked great on Halle but i wouldn't want everyone to wear it. If the X-Men are going to have a seperate 'field scouting' costume then i think they should be personalized for each X-Man or woman.

Why other user don't make his own version? because none want to use his/her time doing it, and I do, so don't blame, psionic and company. If you are bored, move to other things.


And, Retro, thanks for posting that Halle pic, I hadn't it as big. And well, some individuality with that costume won't be bad, any ideas? Let's add some visual refference, to compare.

I think that is a great idea and a nice compromise that could please almost everyone and keep the continuity of the films if they keep going in the current direction...Let them keep their BLJs for formal battle missions, and then they can have individualized field scouting outfits that incorporate more colors and iconography from some of their classic comic costumes!!! You should head over to the Middle East with that kind of thinking!! hyper:

After seeing that large picture I realized this uniform kinda accentuates that whole "granny panty waste-line", something I never thought Halle would wear...admit it, it does.
