Days of Future Past The X-men UNIFORM evolution on the sequel

Sentinels are their new opponents but it doesn't mean the world they are living is suddenly a very different world compare to the original trilogy/The Wolverine. Of course when the Sentinels are around, there will be destruction but I don't think their environment will look like its the end of the world
Hmm, I guess I always assumed it would be an apocalyptic future. You bring up a good point. I guess we really don't know. I sure hope it is!

My guess though is that it will look like the end of the world, but it's due to someone (or something) messing up the timeline and causing it.

I actually don't see the X-Men being rebels especially if this movie is set after The Wolverine. The future isn't gonna be really chaotic compare to the comics.

did u read the script? lol

None of us know what's the time jump between The Wolverine and DOFP.

And in a world where there are sentinels haunting mutants on USA, no way New York, Washington and other cities would look exactly how they look today. Many citizens would have left their homes, because of all that situation too. Not to mention that the most agressive mutants would have attack the sentinels since day one, so...

I bet u it will be more apocalyptic than normal looking

@danielcudmore 17h Just got out of my costume fitting for Xmen Days of Future Past.. Things are looking good!!

It will be a while before we see any of the costumes, but it's good to hear they're at the stage of fitting them. Hopefully we can get some quality spy pics when they're filming.

I hope the first pic is something as good as one of the first X3 pics

My mind just exploded after I saw that, it felt so right (I know hindsight, but still).

LOL I know! That outside confrontation became a total dud. (The scene inside the house was good.)

Great news! Again, so glad Singer and company are using Twitter to keep fans updated and get the word out on this movie early.

The picture with Angel really made me excited and the picture of Beast was perfection!

She looks both of those things in that pic. But I suppose you're hoping for the more porn-star-in-cosplay type look? http://www.followingthenerd.com/site/wp-content/uploads/Rogue-x-men-24838574-490-692.jpg

If so, you'll probably be disappointed.

Well that AOX outfit reminded me of her outfit when she went to the train station. And the coat is covering her figure.

I didn't read the script like you do! lol

You obviously think this movie will be very similar to the comic-book but I don't... lol

Let's hope that costume fitting DID NOT include the Colossus mask from X3! :oldrazz:

Disagree here. It was too short, but it was executed brilliantly. FOX's fault was putting the entire thing in the TV spots. :whatever:

I think this could be the movie where they finally show Wolverine wearing his mask. It would make sense for him to be hiding his identity in a future where mutants are hunted.

This ain't happening.

I wouldn't say that. In the original Aronofsky script for "The Wolverine" there was a scene where

Logan donned his brown and yellow costume, mask and all, and ought a ****load of ninjas.

If that sequence was retained after the rewrite, we could see him wearing it, or at least a modified version it, in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Oh, really? Did you write the movie? Can you send me a copy of the script? I would love to read it. What else happens? Does the Phoenix come back?

PLEASE TELL ME, NOREK!!! WITH ALL YOUR INFINITE KNOWLEDGE OF THIS MOVIE, PLEASE TELL ME EVERYTHING YOU KNOW!!!

Though I would love to see Wolverine wearing his mask, I personally hope that scene isn't in the Wolverine (if it's even true in the first place given its source). At least not like that.

Hopefully with any new costume they give Wolverine in DoFP they at least strive for something more accurate.

I've also never bought it needing an explanation like he's hiding his identity or something lame like that. The previous x-men movies had costumes and I don't think we saw any Batman Begins/Dark Knight style explanation of them.

I know people will disagree, but I think it would be cool if Wolverine was a speaking cameo in Days of Futures Past and was in full costume for the entire scene. No explanation or anything, they just throw him into an intense action sequence with sentinels. He could just pop up and help out one of the X-Men from the past that he has never met.

Huh?

Why would he be a speaking cameo when he's a proper cast member? And why would be he fighting sentinels with X-Men from the past that he's never met? When the sentinels are from the awful future he exists in?

Well, this is Bryan Singer, not Aronofsky. Plus, I don't see how a yellow suit will help him keep a low profile in the future as a hunted mutant. There is no need for the costume, apart for pleasing fanboys, and I'm not sure they would do that just because.

Sorry, I can't do that. My parents told me once to never share secrets with a stranger.

If there is any kind of x-men being together as a group then there will likely be some costumes as well. Though who knows if they will have a similar colour scheme as the First Class costumes. All we do know is that the costumes will not be the same as original movies because Bryan already stated the costumes won't have the black leather.

That is a terrible idea. Its a cross-over movie and you want the most popular character in the series to just have a speaking cameo role in the movie. That is even worse than Duke getting killed early in the G.I. Joe movie.

I'm sorry, but I don't think you are very smart. I did not ask for your opinion of my opinion.
