The only similarity between the leather costumes/Ultimate costume have is they aren't *colorful*. But if you look at their over-all design, they are totally different.

Nope. The classic costume and the movie costumes are totally different. The ultimate costume posted and the movie costumes are quite similar.

I only want to see the colorful costumes of the X-Men in the reboot.

The original trilogy already established the look of the X-Men, I don't want to see them wearing uniforms with flashy colors in DOFP. Their look in X3 and their look in DOFP wouldn't just flow very nicely if suddenly the X-Men are wearing colorful costumes in DoFp.

Fair enough you want to see something in keeping with the previous movies, but First Class established a different look was possible and this film still stars them as well as Hugh, Patrick, Ian and co. It potentially sets a precedent for a more clearly comic inspired costume. Plus Bryan already said that the original trilogy look was out (I know, I know. I've repeated that last part quite a bit. lol).

First Class was pre-X1 while Wolverine, Storm and company are set in post X3 era. I hope they keep the color of the leather costumes. So it wouldn't look like such a drastic change from the leather costumes.

ok, slowly but more often than we would have guessed, we're finding out how the costumes of the future will look like.

Two pics to date:

we'll have to wait to see if the back of Iceman will be just like Charles one or if it will have more details.

Same with the other x-men. We can see a white part on Shawn's arm, so if thats a hint of the rest his full costume, maybe each costume will combine two colours, with black being the unifiying colour.

I doubt that is Iceman's costume and if it his costume, then I'm disappointed with that picture.

But if they are keeping the black color, then I'm happy!
