Days of Future Past The X-men UNIFORM evolution on the sequel

Huh?

Why would he be a speaking cameo when he's a proper cast member? And why would be he fighting sentinels with X-Men from the past that he's never met? When the sentinels are from the awful future he exists in?
 Have you ever even read Days of Future Past? It involves time travel . It involves X-Men from the past interacting with X-Men from the future  where they have to fight sentinels  ... do I need to keep explaining this to you?

I'm sorry, but I don't think you are very smart. I did not ask for your opinion of my opinion.

Pot, kettle, black. If you actually believe you're free to say whatever you like on a message board without reproach then you should maybe wonder how smart you think you are.

What a charmer you are.

Explain to me why, exactly, Wolverine would be fighting sentinels along with X-Men from the past?

I don't think you're off to a very good start. This board can be really fun and friendly as long as you're respectful. Sometimes people will disagree with you (and hopefully they're not rude about it), but it's never worthwhile to go with personal attacks as your response.

Welcome to the board and hope you start getting along with everyone!

Where the hell do you think you are?

So back to old mate Wolvie...

I've kinda been imagining this scene over and over in my mind...Humour me.

We see Kitty Pryde running for her life through the dirty, post-apocalyptic city streets, being hunted down by a Sentinel. She turns down a dark alley, trips and falls hard. Suddenly she's drenched in spotlight, she spins her head to see the Sentinel towering over her. A laser scans her.
"Mutant Identified. Kitty Pryde. Terminate." (lol or whatever!). She screams, and suddenly a voice from the alley..
"Wouldn't do that if I was you, bub"
The Sentinel looks up to see a dark figure in the shadows. Sentinel tries to scan the figure.
"Unidentified mutant. Cannot complete scan"
SNIKT!! Two claws spring from the shadows, as the figure steps out. It's Wolverine, complete with mask.
"You coulda just asked real nice." BOOM. Tears the bastard to shreds. Reason for mask! C'mon, tell me that wouldn't be cool??

I hope we never see Wolverine wear his mask on film. It looks ridiculous in the comics, it looks ridiculous in the cartoons, and it would even more ridiculous on Hugh Jackman. If he needs to wear a comics-inspired costume, I suggest this:

Why taint this kind of badassery with a goofy-looking mask?

I think Wolverine should wear his mask. It's not goofy looking, it's actually really cool looking. It has also never been shown in a live action film, so to say it would look bad is just jumping to an unreasonable assumption.

Wolverine's costume stood for his separation from the rest of the X-Men and added to his imposing presence. At first glance you would think he was a villain with those claws and horns. To not put him in the mask is just an injustice to the character.

I'm not fussed about not seeing the mask. If they were to give it to him, it'd have to be very good.

Yeah I agree.

The Ultimate X-Men costume could work really well in film!

We already had that with the first three X-men films.

Also I think it's safe to say when the director of those movies assures fans those costumes won't be back then they weren't that popular. lol

No we don't. lol.

I actually want the costume to look similar to the costumes of Ultimate X-Men but instead of blue and yellow. I want it to be Black and Yellow or Black & the signature color of their costumes in the 616 comics.

Because they weren't all black with a pinch of colour? :o

We've had the mostly black costumes. Hopefully Bryan doesn't mean the black leather is being replaced with black fabric when he says that the black leather costumes are out. Personally, I can only hope they try for something they try for something that's an evolution of the First Class costumes.

You're wrong.

The ultimate costumes were taken from the black leather outfits of first X-Men film.

So are you saying the original trilogy costumes and Ultimate x-Men costumes:huh: They look so different.

And going back to the First Class costumes is not a sign of evolution because the First Class costumes were set in the 60s period. Its backtracking. I say improve/update the black costumes that they had in the original trilogy, give them a better look and more individuality.

That's not really a full sentence. I don't know if you're saying do I think they are exactly alike or largely similar in reference to what you think I'm saying.

They look so different.

They're largely the same thing. Only real difference is there the exposed arms, yellow sripes are on the shoulders and are more apparent. Hardly chalk and cheese. More just variations on a theme.

The Ultimate costumes are ugly. They are watered down versions of the classics to appeal to a more washed out audience. Since when did everything need to have pouches and look like military clothes?

They need to avoid this look for the movies.

The only similarity between the leather costumes/Ultimate costume have is they aren't *colorful*. But if you look at their over-all design, they are totally different.

I thought the leather was a good, practical idea. The X-Men do a lot of sliding across things, and falling down things that you would need a set of leathers in order to not get scratched up. Maybe add more zippers so they can breathe a little bit.

In my opinion, a leather outfit is not really practical especially in a battle. Its hard to move around when you're wearing a leather jacket/pants.
