Wow...this made less than 5 million opening weekend. It will get no where near back what it costed to make this.

So, how many of you voted actually saw the movie? :o

so where are all the people who were defending this film before it's release, come on keep your hands up so we can count

Awwwwwww, thanks for thinking of me.

It's actually not playing here (They have a poster up under COMING SOON), but at least I got my Watchmen ticket and a Big Bell Box Meal. :woot:

I just got back from this "movie"....Here's my unbiased review:

WTF

Chris Kline should never ever be allowed to act again. The way he talked, his facial expressions...."Nash out". It got to the point where as whenever he entered a scene.."the entire audiance started laughing"...I'm not lying

Moon bloodgood was just as bad as kline. She was there for eye candy alone..she brought nothing else to the table

Neal McDonough- Wha...huh....in band of brothers you were awesome as hell...but bison oh dear lord. His lil "origin" backstory..was by far the silliest thing i've ever witnessed,(for the people who saw it..you know what I'm talking about)...again the audiance started laughing. If he lived in the far east..how in the hell does he talk with an (i guess irish accent)?

Michael Clarke Duncan- From the "Green Mile"...to this? I dont have any words for you brother....none

Taboo- Huh, bro stick to rapping dawg

Kristen Kreuk- Stop with the over the top narrating..it was just so silly..and bad. The part of the movie that got the most laughs(and this wasnt even a comedy) was the nightclub scene...it envloved "chun-li and bison's henchwoman"...it was just so embarrassing that it got to the point where i felt bad for Kristen

I never thought a movie could be this bad..."push" was better than this and that was horrible

If you're a street fighter fan...go by the animated movie, that was badazz.....this was just bad

They attempted to create a unique plot detail regarding his Irish accent by saying that his parents were Irish immigrants. It seemed like way too much of a stretch, though.

Michael Clarke Duncan hasn't had a good movie since the Green Mile. He's one of the worst Oscar Nominees in the last 20 years. At least Marisa Tomei's been nominated twice after her fluke win. The only film he's done since the Green Mile that has been remotely entertaining has been Talledega Nights.

Yeah pickles I know......I couldnt believe they went that route:wow:
My mind was like..."what?"....irish

I still thought it was a fun movie, though. I went expecting SO much more bad acting and was surprised by the overall lack of cheesiness. The fighting was great.

Fox obviously decided in advance to make sure of that. They cut the theater count to just 1,000 and intentionally limited advertising. So I'm not really sure why they bothered to put it in theaters in the first place.

and 'The Legend of Chun-Li' makes 8lb. 6oz. baby Jesus cry...

Bison's story aspect was correct, only different. The ritual was new, but then again they never specified in the game just how he transferred all of his goodness into what Rose embodies. The comics had an explanation, however Rose was never Bison's daughter, just "Bison's Goodness Embodied." So I liked that aspect.

I hated that they made Bison blonde at first, but then I realized all of his clones in the games are blonde [Cammy, Abel, little blonde kid in Balrog's ending]. And since Bison transfers into a new body everytime he "dies"...

Well maybe they are starting to write up Rothman's release forms:o

What about Sin City? :O

I agree that MCD picks terrible movies. This film is probably him scraping the bottom of the barrel.

So now we have 5 people in here who have seen the movie and liked it, and 1 person (kane9321) who has seen it and hated it.

You know, even if I think it's junk when I see it, it still does my heart good to see so many people appreciate a movie that critics and most of the Internet have written off as "crap" without a second thought. I take some kind of strange pleasure in seeing people genuinely enjoy something that most others have denounced, even if I wind up being one of those who denounces it.

watchmen will end this...

and i pray afterwards DB will take the number2 spot which madea holds. lol

I fear for Dragonball. It's an amusing adventure film with outrageous fight scenes. Why bother making those changes just to make it believable? I love the fact that Goku is fixated on fighting stronger opponentns while helping his friends. The Turtle Hermit as an old letch is also hilarious. What's happening with these guys? It's not as serious as Gatchaman, which has ninjas dressed as birds.

So what is Bison's national background? What kind of villain calls himself 'Bison' and operates in Thailand?

OMGulash, is that the story in the comics? He makes clones of himself? He made a female clone of himself?

It's in the games actually. Cammy's ending in Super Street Fighter II Turbo, and her dialogue/ending in Alpha 3 as well.

The clone idea sounds more convincing in KOF. If I wanted to replicate a powerful body it would be Akuma.

In the script, a young Bison had kidnapped an infant orphan and taken it into the cave. The infant grew up to be Rose. I guess they figured the child being his own would be more shocking or something..I dunno.

At the end, he's electrocuted and burnt to a crisp by Chun-Li and it's hinted that he lives on through Rose.

Do you have this script? Can it be downloaded online somewhere? I REALLY wanna see this...

Yep, he lives on through Rose until he finds a new body, and such is the case in this movie more than likely as well. In this case, if there's a sequel, we'd see the raven-haired, hopefully red uniform donned Bison.
