To me, it's all about having a good agent and having good taste in movies.

Mila Kudis from That 70's Show and Family Guy was in Max Payne, but then again, she was in the great Forgetting Sarah Marshall and the upcoming Book of Eli with Denzel Washington. DENZEL WASHINGTON. So she's doing well for herself, so I'm sure Kristen needs that one role that will make her.

I hope that Street Fighter doesn't break her though..

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha you make it sound like acting skills is what is needed in Hollywood. All she has to do is it hit the babe meter and have a few teenage boys and men whack it to her and a few magazines overhype how good she looks and bam you have a Hollywood actress who cant act but gets tons and tons of roles.

Pfftt...I do...sometime the best thing to do is shoot the horse...maybe she can find a nice sitcom or "pretty people with problems" drama and stay off the big screen

It's sad that her and Grace Park both got their start on that Canadian Edgemont show, and the latter is now all over Hollywood and Kreuk is just....there.

look its pretty simple. if you want to be an action start this was the wrong movie. if you want to be a serious actor............this was the wrong movie.

if you want to be successful in ANY position that deals with the entertainment industry, this was the wrong movie.

What about porn? I heard there was a small lesbian scene?

for example batman & robin was if you think about it a test. it was cartoony over the top. it was dumb. it bombed. speed racer was also something new. and it bombed.

this trys to be a normal movie....a serious action movie...............and it fails on every level. and i noticed this in the trailer already.

Ya know...it wasn't AS bad as I thought it would be. It picks up after getting to Bangkok...also I didn't pay to see it. That probably helped.

Oh yeah..she did do that "
in the nightclub

You think 8 bucks is bad? 18-20 bucks is the standard here in Japan :(
Huh, yeah. 8 bucks (around 6,30 euros) is cheap in Finland. Our standard is like 12-14 bucks.

Well RottenTomatoes finally has one "fresh" review on its list - and it's from no less an authority than The New York Times! They haven't adjusted the Tomatometer yet though - it still reads 0%.

As for our own members, we've now seen 4 positive reviews (2 with reservations and 2 without), 1 mediocre and 1 resoundingly negative in this thread.

WB might take her back if she begs hard enough....or maybe she can play a victim on Law & Order:SVU....because everyone gets on SVU

I suspect she'll show up in a few screwball comedy movies as a supporting character, playing a teenager regardless of her actual age, for a few years, then promptly fade into obscurity. I doubt Tom Welling will even be that lucky, though.

Wow...this made less than 5 million opening weekend. It will get no where near back what it costed to make this.

Actually, it might, according to Variety's BenFritz:

Keep in mind, however, that a weak performance in the U.S. doesn't necessarily mean "Legend of Chun-Li" is a big money loser for financiers Capcom and Hyde Park. For a movie like this, domestic release is basically a tool to support the places where it really makes money: Overseas (especially Asia) and DVD. With a budget I've heard estimated at around $30 million, the movie could still end up doing OK, even if not many people in the U.S. actually want to go to a movie theater and pay $10 to see it.
It's interesting that despite the overwhelmingly bad reviews out there, two of the entertainment industries heaviest-hitters gave the film its only 2 Fresh ratings so far. Variety and The New York Times. I don't think this will have too negative an impact on Kristin's career. Most of the reviews (even the bad ones) haven't really put the blame on her. Chris Klein however.... Yikes.

I can't review it as I haven't seen it yet, but I still plan on doing so, just because I'm a Kristin fan. Don't worry, my expectations are fairly realistic. ;)

They can micro-manage their way to profitability all they want, the movie was still trash. Street Fighter movies continue to suck.
