Personally, I don't really know anything about so I don't really know what to think, but I guess he looks good for the part.

Not really. I'm not a fan of Snyder's. Outside 300, his work is mediocre.

It's not just that. The script can give it depth his films tend to lack, yes, but his overall CGI/slow motion style I don't like for Superman. I'd rather not have Metropolis look like something out of a video game. I'd rather it look like an actual city. I'm also not foaming at the mouth to see stop motion punches every 5 mins.

From what I can remember about Watchmen, the city looked like a real city.

LOVE Synder's flick, and I LOOOOOOOVE Superman. I'm pleased a punch with the casting.

But, the fighting style got annoying in spots. He used too much slow motion. That, and he dumbed down the story IMO. Slanted the film too much and took away its ambiguity to simplify for the audience.
