X-Men : First Class # 2. I got it last week and was pretty happy with it.
Here's my comments that I posted in the X-Men comic forums:
Not a bad self-contained little story.
The continuity weirdness wasn't as bad as I thought it might be, since it was mentioned that this story takes place after Spider-Man's first encounter with the Lizard. Of course, it was also mentioned in plenty of other Spidey comics that no one other than Spidey (and the Connors family) new that Curt was the Lizard until the first Secret Wars series, but since someone decided that Professor X and Dr. Connors were buddies, that's not such a big deal I suppose.
I liked the artwork, including how the Lizard was depicted. I'm glad he wasn't as huge as he appeared on the cover. I also liked how it was made clear that Angel and Beast could NOT handle Lizzy on their own and had to get Bobby's help - even though that was a rather predictable outcome.
The Lizard should have talked more than he did, since in the old days he was quite the chatterbox, but overall the writers did OK by Lizzy.
