It looks like other than the new toon's logo, they're taking some some visual cues as well.

Not gonna lie, these look pretty realistic and very impressive. I'd s**t myself if I ever ran into one of these guys . They 're cool, but kinda creepy.

I have a feeling it'll be a long time before we see the looks. They won't be revealed during location shooting since there are no costumes, so no reason to preemptively release anything.
what can happen is that the studio decieds to leak the turtle designs on the internet. if they like them they will try to get the internet on their side by good promo images.

if there will be leaks i expect them after august. right now they still havent finished the main models. all they have is 3D concept designes.

This is the definitive TMNT look, in my opinion. They look built and the bandanas are absolutely perfect.

About 120 million, but I wouldn't be shocked if it gets upped to 150 or 200.

If I'm not mistaken the movie's on a short hiatus from shooting. Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if the budget went up from 120, even though it was cut from last year.

Those game designs aren't half-bad. Though I never got why the turtles have three fingers and two toes.

In the very original concept art, they had the normal (turtle) amount of digits.

I just chalked it up to being a side effect/ deformity of their mutation.

I thought it looked a bit amateurish (the poster, not necessarily the turtles). However, the look of the turtles reminded me of the cgi used on Scooby Doo - definitely not a good thing.

I'm not sure.

There is a guys name listed on it as the creator of the poster, so I guess it COULD just be artwork he did in his spare time, but IDK.

He works in the VFX industry and that could be a concept he submitted for the film.

Either way, I think it looks okay. Something more.... realistic, or rather, grittier would be better.

Those designs are just a bit too cartoonish.

OK, these don't look too bad. They're paying homage to the Henson animatronics but giving them much more detail and range due to CG. I like the bloodied bandages on Raph.

Agreed.

These would actually be pretty good designs for the movie, they just need some realistic texturing to them.

Maybe see some muscle movement, some sweat on the skin. Something. They looks too smooth and cartoony.

Other than those flaws, something like this is definitely what I'd like to see for the film.

Are these actors doing the mo-cap martial artists also or will they do mo-cap with professional martial artists/body doubles?

Those are actors and yes, they will be providing the mocapture AND voices of the turtles.

I personally wouldn't do it differently. It provides better cohesion between the performance and vocal work. Though, with the actors doing both, the need for voice overs throughout is significantly decreased.

They will be doing what fighting they can be trained to do themselves. For more involved moves/techniques, it will be stunt doubles and possibly full animation. As much as possible will be actors/stuntmen captured in camera with mo-cap suits, though.

The shells look funny on there mocap suits, but dang is that the foot?

Totally going in a Michelangelo mo-cap suit for Halloween this year.
