I can see why they did it that way, so I am gonna try and not let it bother me too much.

Just wondering, the Joker doesn't apply his make-up in this flick, right? His face just gets worse and worse as the film progesses, yeah?

He does wear makeup but lets it rot on his skin throughout the film, yeah.

either way i wouldnt care if it was clearly jackie chan under that mask, as long as that reveal is as sweet as ive been told, i'll forget all about it.
having said that though, when you've seen it a few times it will get annoying.

Maybe he uses like...spray paint, and because he doesn't wash it off (like people have been saying), it stains his face (Becuse Spray paint is toxic)...PERMA WHITE hahaha (rots his skin)...

just being a ball buster:)

So, the jail scene in the trailer, that could quite possibly be the last scene? The Joker's face looks really bad in that scene. I don't know, just a prediction.

Thats a good point, when gordon is talking about how they've obviously arrested him... is that the end of the film? I doubt it. The Empire cover is the same part where he claps his hands and the truck flips. That is probably the guarded truck he's being transported to Arkham in yeah? Flips himself over in the truck and then crawls out all bloodied and banged up. There'd HAVE to be a jail break or two in this film!

Actually its been said that Joker goes to jail and after Batman beats up Joker and leaves Joker escapes from a bomb going off.

See I was thinking: This is not the end of the movie...this is early on, and he will escape.

BUT, looking at it now. I think this is the end of the movie.

I cant really explain it very well, but here it goes.

It confuses the audience to show us the ending. Because we will assume it is not the ending, because the ending is something you keep hidden. But I could seriously see that being the 2nd or 3rd last scene...of the movie...when he is in jail.

Joker is on the loose the whole movie, than they finally get him.

Because are they going to get him, have him escape and than get him again (maybe)...

or get him at the end only (maybe)

or get him in the middle have him escape, and not get him at all until #3 (maybe)

Yeah I can see what you mean. Kind of like the Forever ending with Nygma?
I want to see Jokers face on that first reveal!!! Youtube wont work here at my Job... Any screen cap links?

ummm the 60s batman practically was a saint.
the batman cartoon, becuz its a cartoon cant kill cuz its a cartoon...
and nicholson came off to me as more of a prankster than a killer

just my opinion though

watch Mask of the phantasm and the uncut return of the joker. he kills and tortures people in those movies.

I don't know, I feel the Joker only gets captured one time, at the very end. And the condition of his face is in, is ridiculous, and if he only puts the make-up on one time, then the jail scene must be the end of TDK. I don't know, only time will tell what happens.

Has anyone else noticed that the Joker always does some sort of abnormal mouth movement in one way or the other (no I don't mean talking or anything like that) in the trailer when there are scenes close to his face? The one scene imparticular is when he has Dawes at knifepoint and he flicks his tongue out of his mouth, almost like he's wetting his lips with it?

It seems to me that Nolan really wants us to understand that the mouth's injury is a critical physical feature of his Joker.

The actions really strike me as a second focal point of the scene(s). Maybe it's Ledger's overall face actions and the makeup and scarring is leading me back to his mouth?

He looks so freaking evil in this shot.... 1:38

Heath is doing far better than even I would have thought and I've been pro-heath from the start.

In this picture he seems....... a little TOO happy.

I have never been more stunned or elated as I am after seeing this trailer. I saw it in theatres today and I can't frikkin wait to see this movie. I like how Heath really does convey that who gives a **** attitude and totally plays this guy like a total psychopath. This is the way the joker was meant to be!

Anybody want to take on the daunting task of making screenshots of all the badass shots of Joker in the trailer?

I'm sure we'd all appreciate it.
