I think a black belt that sort of blended in, but was still sort of visible might work.
I sort of like the claws on the legs too.

I dig the concept. Dont like the claws on the leggings, but I like the coloring of the hood. I think a colored belt instead of just a "floating" belt buckle would work better. And maybe some color on the gloves.

Just my opinion, but I do like it a lot.

I agree with this I like the second design minus leg slashes show the belt although I don't think symbol should be the same color and I would put a red splash or block of color on the backs of his hands.

On a side not Juggertha yours rocks as well

Hey thanks for all the feedback guys! I've still been working on making my design more unique. This is my newest design that I'm happy with. Some people seem to like the leg slashes and some do not. I put them there because I think the design looks a little too boring without them you know? One guy said that without the leg slashes it looked too much like "Wolverine Beyond." So I'm trying to streamline it without getting too deep in that territory, though those futuristic pouches would solve my belt problem.

Also the black belt on a black costume doesn't really look that great, hence the buckle by itself.

Many people have said that Wolverine doesn't really need a mask anymore and most people that I've talked to don't like the mask on him. I like the mask, but I think it's a safe bet that most designs will use some variation of the mask. I decided to compromise by making it a half mask, kind of like the Alex Ross Black Terror design . This way, you still see Wolverine's trademark hair but also get that cool white demonic eye that I like to draw.

Obviously I'll draw a better version to actually enter, this is just a rough to show the design of the costume. What do you think?

Also: I'm not sure if I like the black and red buckle better or the silver and black. I also am unsure about which way the claws should curve, I think I like the second one better than the first.

EDIT: I thought about it, and I think I'm going with the Game of Death Wolverine.

I just did this one messing around...But I actually really like it.

I think yours looks cool as well Juggertha, we had some similar ideas, I like the direction you went with. This is my final I think. I may redraw it because I'm not too happy with it, but as of now this is what I'll probably submit.

Right now if you just go to deviant art and type "Wolverine: Look Sharp" into the search bar you should bring up a couple of them. But you won't be able to look at all of them together on the site until they upload them all. The deadline is this Friday.

Did you like that it was all black? I've thought about switching it back but maintaining the game of death idea. There are so many different versions I've done it's hard to pick to submit. i'm probably going to stick with this one though.

Well I hate the half mask, vertical line, slashes on legs, and the color. But no way to know what they will like.

this was a sketch of an idea i was gonna submit to project rooftop . i chose not to because i don't think i'm good enough to qualify. but i still think it was a cool design. i might add some piping. and tell me if i should change the orange to yellow i was just trying to mix it up and use a new color on his costume the eye fin things go around, ps i know i ****ed up on the belt so just let that one slide. this pic wasn't supposed to be a final product just a test of the costume design

After looking at what's been submitted so far, these are my favs for the Project Rooftop contest.

I like how his claws are like small lightsabres.

Love the X-Force one.

Looks just like something off the pages of a Marvel book!

Really like the "cyber" aspect of this one.

the first one looks like a GAMBIT-RINE. and the last one is cool because his mask reminds me of my batman beyond and it really works for that costume

the mask is the only idea i could come up with. you guys have pretty much covered anything that can be done with wolvies cowl other then a bandanna mask and that would look to much like zorro so i tryed to make it like his mask wraps around his head

And even the best drawing is up for debate some of the winners I think are drawn awefull like a to thin model type design for a super hero, or really cartoony but you never know.
