its like i wanna do. make the fin parts rigged so it offers some level of protection

A lot of those aren't really redsigns, just artists interpretations. There are differences.

A redesign would be something unlike anything that has come before. A short animal like man with three metal claws without the big eye/ear thingys.

redesign is simply redesigning the costume, not recreating the character all together.

Right, but they all look like the normal costume with a little artists interpretation, ie it looks different coz no artests draw the same. It should be new colours and new designs, not just the same old stuff slightly altered.

well thats why i made one of my costumes orange and changed up the cowl. i will admit its not a quantum leap from the original but that only because i grew up with it. i was gonna submit a cowboy wolverine from my 1930s xmen but i thought you guys would hate it so i didn't even bother

I agree some of these designs could be pushed further, but I didn't like the idea of making him an animal man, or just re-creating him from scratch. That's what I thought you were saying. I think keep something familiar with him besides his claws, but push the rest as far as can be could.

Are you daft? Of course submit it. Don't do it for us, though, do it for yourself.

And if the people hate it, and they don't critique, then that's their problem.

k. i'll finish him up. i also came up with a sushi chef wolverine based on his japan years. i figured a guy with blades in his hands would have the level of knife skill to handle sushi making

ok here he is. what i thought you would hate is how i changed up his claws .
if you cannot tell i an a huge fan of clints man with no name trilogy and josey wales. i changes the claws because my incarnation is an old modle version of classic wolvie and has bootleg version of his claws and a slightly weaker healing factor. hes only supposed to be about 80 and not in his ealry hundreds like modern wolvie. i tryed to make the swords an X

dont know about jonah hex but i hope his shirt throws back to the costume a little. and sorry if hes to anime looking. the thing on his gun is supposed to be a bear claw in-lay. the scar comes from clint in THE OUTLAW JOSEY WALES

i dont know if you can tell but he has a scar down the right of his face ( our left )

Another Wolverine redesign...It's basically my older one but kind of scaled back a bit to be more in line with Wolverine's normal costumes.
