Also someon posted the new Steve Rogers outfit from Marvel:
now that's something I can live with...Rogers is the new director of SHIELD, I believe that's his uniform...I don't think he needs the mask anymore...the modern Cap should look like this...

Then others started tweaking it.:

Here's a few alterations to that Agent Rogers costume in a Cap style.

i really like that first captain america with the reddish orange background

ok so this is my redone 1930s magneto the first one i did was kinda nazish and alot of people didn't like it so one day it dawned upon me that the perfect job for a guy who can control metal is a blacksmith so this is my average joe blacksmith magneto, i think i screwed up his face but whatever

i like the mroe Nazi-ish one, becuase if you think about it, his goal is the supremacy of mutant kind, if that means annihilating humanity, then he'd do it, no doubt

its just some people got pissed at me making him look like a nazi when he is supposed to be a holocaust survivor. but you basically hit the nail on the head with my idea for the older design with the laurel leaves detail and all i was trying to make him look like a ceaser / dictator type ruler with an iron fist

but i did think the blacksmith idea was clever

would ya mind if i did a manip based on the more nazi like one?

is the holocaust survivor a comic canon or just from the films?

Sabretooth go right ahead man I would love to see your ideas

MoSteel I can't remember it's been a long time since I have read a comic

yea he was in the comics in 1981 and further confirmed in the newer runs.

wikipedia is my friend.:)

Ok thanks MOsteel I thought so but I was only like 20% sure

Ps do you have any thoughts on my 1930s magneto?

sorry man, i just don't think it really fits the character very well. Nothing against the drawing/design itself, and its a very creative idea as are most of your concepts, i just don't see magneto dressed like that. he has too much of an superiority-complex to dress like that. the bandana, the unshaven face, the wife-beater, the stained apron, just doesn't fit the regal, royality vibe that is often associated with magneto. in terms of the 1930's era, i see him more like Al Capone or Don Corleone type of character, a highly respected mob boss. i know it doesn't really have any relations to his powers, but if i had too, that's how i would envision him.

also, regardless of how drastic of a deviation, i can usually tell what character you are drawing. this one i didn't recognize until i read your post. again, i understand where you were coming from, and it would make sense that a person who can control metal would make a good blacksmith, i just don't see it in magneto. i hope you don't take it the wrong way. Just how i feel about it.

Nah man it's cool and I understand your reasoning that's why my original idea was a dicator maye blacksmithe magneto could be a ancestor or distant realative but yeah I can agree with what your saying that's like making wolverine a woodsculptor just because he has the metal claws

with that being said, i do think it's a matter of how you sell it. i can definitely see a story.

i like the hereditary angle. he could come from a humble background where his father was a blacksmith, and the reason is because he was also "good with metals" whether he knew it or not. you could even use magneto himself as a blacksmith prior to being in the holocaust, and subsequent events that lead him to become magneto as we know him today. so coming from a poor community, the only opportunity he had to feed his family with his talent was being a blacksmith, having the powers at a much earlier stage but never being able to use it to his full capacity. once he experienced the major events in his life, that was the end of his blacksmith days.

so it could work, there's definitely a good story there. Not as magneto as we know him today, but can be integrated into his origin story.

that could be a very good way of going about an XMOM movie

Maybe his father was a blacksmith who was killed in ww1

All I know is that he could make some beautiful swords folding steel with his powers real easy like useing his powers to mold metal into intricate designs impossible for ordinary smithes

Luke Cage by Ray-Anthony Height

Rachel: I’m not sure how I feel about the steel-toed wellies–I think something sleeker would have been a better match for the bodysuit–but the costume is pretty sharp. He looks kinda like a fighting game character, and it’s certainly no sillier than either of the canonical costumes pictured.

Vito: While he certainly doesn’t need the steel toes (what’s a welly?), it reminds me of Timberland boots, in a way. The only real issue I have is the “Cage” on his side. I prefer to call him “Power Man,” myself. But I love the color scheme and the chain motif.

Rachel: Short for wellingtons–rain boots, which are what those remind me of. You’re right that they’re probably closer to Timberlands, though, in which case the steel toe makes more sense.

Chris: I like how the guantlets and belt carry over the steel chain vibe from the original costume, but overall it’s a little bit too slick for Luke’s tastes IMHO.

Dean: Sweet (Christmas)! I think a half-step between his current non-costume might be an easier sell (maybe the top with jeans?), but I love the modified color scheme and return to costumed superheroing. But the truly brilliant bit here is the negative space chain icon hidden in the “C” in the “CAGE” logo. Very cool. The earring’s gotta go, though.

great idea man, i always wanted to pull of a single eye cyclop but giving him one big eye. thats a homerun dude.:up:
