not bad but i dont like the circles on the thigh
I hope not. I'm really not diggin' it. It gives off a kind of "Dark Knight" feel, & not in a good way.Yeah I don't get the cirle thing either not sure what they are meant for. I disagree with yall this is the closest thing we would be seing in a movie I think.

The interesting thing that I've noticed is that movie versions are very busy. The reason for the difference seems to be partially because a penciler has to repeatedly draw a charcter, so some discretion is necessary. Production/wardrobe designers can get crazy with the eye candy.
In a Cap movie I think the costume would be faithful to the WW2 era but get pretty detailed and slick in the modern. (not that I follwed that theory in the least) I think there will be lots of different surface textures and probably a scaling back of the armour-type seen in batman/watchmen.
they may even ditch the mask (why would he need one, really)

Because as Steve Rogers, he's just a man. As Captain America, he's a symbol.![]()

the mask is as iconic as the shield easily. save for the nose and ears cap's mask covers as much of his face as batman's. but the symbolic argument is EXTREMELY relevant here, without the mask he's a guy in a weird shirt with it he's made more than a man. cap with no mask is like thisYeah that doesnt really hold up as an agrument. I can see that with batman, spiderman etc but not cap. A 1/2 mask like Caps in the movie just wouldnt make sense in respect to purpose and it looks weird. Always has always will (ie Daredevil).
the mask is the very least symbolic aspect to the costume. In fact it verges on generic. Whats more identifiable than a persons face, especially in the modern culture of identity. Captain America, blond hair blues eyes and apple pie. The rest of the costume is very iconic.

like the ultimates 2 mask?in my cap redesign i'm doing the mask is metal and acts as armor for is head. and i ahree cap with a mask is lame
superman's cape didn't serve any purpose. to me the real iconic part of cap's suit was the A and the wings on the mask without the A for all we know he cold be sporting a puerto rico costume
case in point this flag looks alot more like cap than the american flag
