Why would you watch that?![]()
I was like...10 when it first came out...I saw it again recently for...well, I don't know..It's forever etched into my brain.

Why would you watch that?![]()
the eye of sauron would have shot the eagles out of the sky
If I remember right from the books...the eagles were very independant...they only helped him when they wanted to...he didn't control them.

I can see that. How bout having no guards at Mount Doom? Seems like it's kinda important.
I find it funny that you feel the need to explain yourself for watching Home Alone 4.

That wanker? Not likely.

As much as I love the films...
SW:
If the Death Star is THE ULTIMATE WEAPON why the hell does it have an exhaust port that leads DIRECTLY to the core reactor!?
ESB:
How does Vader not know that Luke is his son!? I mean his last name's Skywalker, and if he's supposed to be the most powerful in the force, shouldn't he have realized this before Palpatine!? WTF!?
ROTJ:
If that was the Empire BEST Legion, why was it defeated by a handful of Ewoks?! Honestly... an army of endless battle droids, the surviving Jedi, the rebels, all the smugglers... you're telling me they couldn't defeat the empire in those 25 years of terror!?
And WHY THE HELL would they put ANOTHER core reactor if that was the flaw of the first Death Star!? Just put a bunch of reactors around the Death Star, internally and externally.
And if the Death Star was fully operational, why didn't it and the Star Destroyers, and the Super Star Destroyers just obliterate the Rebel ships!?
ROTS:
When Dooku said "the senate is being controlled by a Sith Lord", any fool would realize Palpatine was Sidious, let alone any Jedi... let alone YODA!!!!!

I'm not sure about the science on this, but even if you're right it's not a plot hole, it's bad science.
A plot hole is a detail in a movie that compromises the plot or premise of the movie. For example, in Transformers 2, the decepticons use a piece of the Allspark to bring Megatron back to life. Sam also has a piece of the allspark; but when Optimus Prime dies he needs the Matrix of Leadership to bring him back to life? Why couldn't he just use the Allspark?
That contradicts the entire premise of the movie.
I guess time travel is the biggest plot hole. If you have time travel then no rules apply. If someone dies just go back in time. If something is wrong go back in time and change it. My favorite use of this is in the bill and ted movies. They just call out items they need and they appear. They also state not to forget to go back and leave the items so they will appear when needed. So anytime time travel is used the whole movie is a plot hole. Since there are no rules nothing should threaten the hero if he can just travel to a point in time and fix it.
You can't justify this. This is one of the most famous plot holes. I'm the biggest SW fan you'll ever meet, and I can still accept its errors.Ultimate weapon doesn't mean flawless, also it was a very hard shot, Luke did it with the help of the Force
Ok, but that still doesn't explain how Vader couldn't sense it before Palpatine. Vader's much stronger in the force - even Palpatine said it.Vader didn't know the young rebel that destroyed the Death Star was name Skywalker in ANH. He learned that at the beginning of ESB when the Emperor told him that the offspring of Anakin Skywalker was their new enemy. At that time we didn't know that Vader was Anakin Skywalker.
The ewoks were facing a Legion of Palpatine's best. He said it himself. The original plan was to make them Wookies - which made much more sense, but they wanted to make it more kid friendly. We only saw the Ewoke battle but if I'm not mistaken more rebels were involved in the ground battle.
Also the smugglers didn't care as long as they could make business.
If there wasn't a core reactor, the Death Star wouldn't have blown up. That exhaust port could've been there, the problem was that they had ONE reactor which was an explosive core. It's like if the USA had ONE giant Nuclear Power plant in the middle of the country which powered the entire nation - it's stupid. The flaw wasn't the core reactor but the exhaust port
I'm not an idiot - I understand his motives, but killing all of Luke's friends would have made him more pissed. If he witnessed all of his friends dying, he would've gotten so much more angry. The Emperor held the Star Destroyers back to make Luke angry thus making him fall to the Dark Side
Hiding their true nature is one thing, but when a Sith Lord TELLS YOU that the SITH ARE RULING THE SENATE you should know... especially when a diplomat makes himself a dictator and gets himself involved with the decisions and policies of the Jedi Council.Palpatine was a Master Sith and they ( Sith ) have a way to hide their true nature ( the "mask" skill ).
I'm guessing this is a fault with the special edition, since the original version goes a little like this.ESB:
How does Vader not know that Luke is his son!? I mean his last name's Skywalker, and if he's supposed to be the most powerful in the force, shouldn't he have realized this before Palpatine!? WTF!?
In the beginning of Transformers 2, we see Sam moving for college, and the Allspark becomes DISLODGED from (I assume) the sweater/hoodie he was wearing on the first movie, burns through the floor causes ALL his **** in the house to go haywire.
This starts a chain of events that cause the Decepticons to become aware of the piece, and go on a massive hunt for it.
Even when it's locked up in a facility, the Decepticons are able to find it (spying on satellitte comms I think?) and send their Cheetah-bot to infitrate the facility.
I don't know how much times passed between the first and 2nd movie; BUT, how the **** did the allspark not affect other machines before becoming dislodged from the hoodie? What kind of protective properties did that hoodie have that it prevented the thing from detection + contained its powers for that time period??
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, it's been a while since I saw it.

And I didn't say the smugglers were at war with the Empire, but they were worried. If a handful of Ewoks could take down the best Stormtroopers, then a couple tie fighters and stormtroopers would be the least of a smuggler's worries.

You can't argue this **** with me. Star Wars is what made me a nerd.
No, I'm talking about the originals.I'm guessing this is a fault with the special edition, since the original version goes a little like this.

He says Vader is more powerful than himself and Yoda right before he pulls out his lightsaber in ROTS - maybe it's a plothole in ROTS, but I doubt it considering Sidious never realized how Vader wanted to overthrow him. Vader is more powerful - only difference is that he cannot use some physical force powers because of his robotic arms.I don't recall that the Emperor said so, as far as I am concerned he is much more powerfull than Vader at least in Force control and high ranked skill.
It was originally supposed to be on Kashyyk, but it was a matter of making it more kid friendly. In terms of budget, it would have cost the same - costumes, and "tree-houses".I know about the Wookie stuff, I am not convinced about the kid friendly part, I thought it was a budget / consistency matter since the action take place on Endor and not Kashyyyk. Anyway, it doesn't bother me that much.
"That's the real trick, isn't it?" It's a worry - it's also why they charge more.I didn't sense this smuggler's worries in the OT.
They could still have multiple small ones instead of one giant one.Well, a fusion reactor can explode if you destroy the power regulator I imagine ( in a scifi setting )
Killing them all at once would've been more effective.Relax, I didn't say you were an idiot. Palpatine plan was to kill them all but not too fast, like a good old torture process. The Emperor was also over confident.
They figured out he was a Sith at the end of AOTC - the audience joins Windu, Yoda and Obi-Wan's convo where they talk about it... they mention all the clues and say "...the Dark Side is hiding ****".I guess you are referring to Dooku but did he proclaimed himself a Sith in the PT did he ? Anyway, it is a plot hole because of the weak PT scripts.
Palpatine managed to be elected Hight Chancellor by using democratic ways and subtle manipulation of the Senate and maybe the Force too ( I guess )
For me, first and foremost is the OT, then the PT and then the EU. I know it all, but the OT comes first. That doesn't mean it isn't flawless.Oh yes I can, I will just not do it extensively because it is a futile exercise and I am not here for a verbal joust but a friendly chat
Note : my answers are mostly based on my knowledge of the OT, the role playing books ( the old ones ).
It's never stated in the original versions when Vader figured out Luke was his son. He does, however, know his last name is Skywalker at the very beginning of the movie. No, I'm talking about the originals.
I think the bigger question is why didn't they use the shard to revive Optimus if the Decepticons used the other shard piece to revive Megatron.
Thank you!why does every robot that is created through the allspark come out automatically hostile?
Also, if bumblebee was finally able to talk at the end of the first film, why is reverted back to using sound clips in the second one?
