Ok now that it sounds like people are liking captain marvel, especially the 90s nostalgia which era should marvel tackle next? It’s absolutely fine to go back to an era we’ve already seen.

Me? I would love to see an 80s flashdance she hulk

It would be fun to have the avengers appear in the disco era or something and bump into classic Misty

As much as I'm looking forward to CM... The 90's nostalgia thing feels like a cheap gimmick to flatter the self proclaimed "90's kids" demo.

I honestly would roll my eyes if this became a trend in the MCU.

My brother works in TV production and has made numerous indie films. He and some collaborators wrote a treatment for sci-fi comedy based on Kid Colt and the Marvel westerns of the 60s. He has pitched to Disney in the past and sold a few treatments (that they've shelved). But when they were trying to get a pitch meeting, he felt Marvel didn't seem interested in that time period at all. Which is too bad - I'd love to see a Marvel western.

He is currently re-writing the treatment to de-Marvelize it and pitch it elsewhere.

I hope everything works out for him, best of luck!

I voted for 60’s-70’s!! But only to setup fantastic 4!! Have them somehow get trapped in negative zone then come out now!! That’s an easy fix for them!! Now about x-men. (Mutants)……
