Yes I am sure the "disgusting" human was hurt after what he did, but it made me laugh I sure hope that Megatron gets a lot more time on screen in TF2, he is the leader, I am sure he will.

I just cant see them not bringing him back, he is the main villain of the TF universe after all.

I also think he will have more screentime as well.

Oh no way will they not bring him back, they would be crazy not to, like you said he is the main villain and I just could not see them keeping him killed off, that would be stupid. I think the Decepticons trying to bring him back will be a big part of TF2.

Megatron is the my very favorite Transformers, and I don't want him to have any other stupid earth mode in the sequal, just the way he is now is perfect.

He was a badass. I'll say that. He was okay tho too. He didnt get enough screen time. A lot of the decepticons didnt get a lot of screen time. Such as Barricade.

My only complant is that MEGATRON's eyes should be Red Like in the movie . Not Blue like Optimus Prime .

Just like the movie itself, I like the movie Megatron better than the cartoon. Very cool! Very evil, and wicked.

i defintely see them bringing him back. I also think they are gonna go the F4 X2 route, with the good guys/badguys join forces for a greater threat, and if a third movie occurs, have the two groups at each other's throats again.

Now that you guys have seen the movie several times, do you think Bay was right not using Welker?

In the dvds extra features it shows Welkers voice against Bays Megatron...and it doesn't match, imo.

I'm glad Bay went with Weaving as the voice of Megatron in the movie, Because as much as I loved Welkers voice in the Tv series . Movie MEGATRON's desgin doesn't work well with Welkers voice, but Weaving's voice does .

After playing the movie based Game, I was hoping that their was a feature on their were we'd get Weaving vocing Megatron instead of Welkers.

i would be in utter shock if that was the end of megatron. He came in at 1:46 in a 2 hour movie. You can't tell me the main villain of the TF universe had an onscreen time of 15-20 mins over a span of 2 or 3 movies.

Weaving was cool, but part of me still wishes that Welker had been cast. I think that as long as his voice had been deepened a little bit, it would've sounded fine.

i agree. I kinda like the unique feel he has. and being as arrogant as he is, why would he try to hide.

^I co-sign on that. Like Bay said, Megs is too arrogant to want to change from his Cybertronian mode. Choosing an earth mode would not really fit his personality.

Exactly, and i hope he stays just the same for the sequel.

Plus I think Weavings voice fit this version of the character so much better than Welker's voice could have. Welkers voice would have a bit too weak sounding for me, but Weaving's felt like it just oozed power and evil.

You put it into words that I could not. That's EXACTLY how I felt.

Gotta love Weaving in V for Vendetta and the Matrix Trilogy. His role in LOTR somewhat stands out...oh, and Priscilla Queen of the Desert. GREAT film...and great performances by Hugo.

Glad they didn't put the helmet hair as I always called it on Megatron in the live action movie. It made him look ridiculous in the cartoon & made you question whether or not he was a boy or girl robot.
