The Michael Trucco for Superman Campaign

According to the latest reports, it seems Director George Miller and the cast may be replaced for Justice League with the project moving to North America to film.

I'm a big fan of Michael Trucco (Battlestar Galactica) for the Superman role. He has the height (6'3), the voice, the commanding presense and a resemblence to the Jim Lee Superman.

I was able to post on Michael Trucco's official board about trying out for Superman and he responded positively (his username is M.T.).

Michael seems to be a popular fan choice for Superman among these parts. I'd encourage anyone who wants him to play Superman to voice your support on his board; if theres enough demand he may look into auditioning.

Good luck with this, yes i agree from what i seen of him on BSG he is pretty good got the look and presence for supes and i would be up for him being supes.

Hopefully if miller is out and a new director is in he will actually go with more mature cast which is what jla should be since they all should be in a few yrs of their solo careers before they make the team. I know michael guy is pushing 40 right so he might be to old for wb if they are wanting sequel. But he has my vote.

Sequel should be fine. Trucco's 37/38.

Hugh Jackman's 40 and he's still kicking ass for Wolverine; and perhaps long after that.

Yea thanks for the age of michael i knew he was in the late 30s range. All really counts on what wb wants to do with the film now if miller is truely off the film would they still want to go the young route and have young actors grow into roles or would they want to go maturer route.

The thing is Gale and Common are in their 30s too.

If GL and WW are in that range, so should Bats and Supes.

Casting them as so young was a big mistake.

Yea i was wondering that the whole time why cast a 35 yr old gl, a 32 ww but go with a 27/28 cotrona and a 21 hammer just isnt right. They all should be in early mid 30s when they form the league with wally flash being the youngest in the late teens-early 20s.

Now that is someone I would be happy to see as Superman a much better candidate for the role then Cotrona. I wish the WB would listen and think about recasting I mean you don't need a young cast to draw kids in, they will come as long as the movie is good. Now if we could just get a Monica Dean for Wonder Woman Campaign started.t:

I would largely prefer him to DJ Cotrona who seems by far the worst choice for Superman.

I like the guys work on BSG as well and compared to what DJ brings? Count me in as won over to casting him as SUPERMAN.

Ever since I saw MT on BSG I thought he would make a great Superman so I'm all for it. He needs to bulk up a little but he definitely has the qualities needed and one of the most important things in my book, a very determined look. Superman needs to look mature - not old - and he has that too. It's hard to take any Superman actor seriously if they look like they're barely out of high school.

I think they could compromise and maybe cast the Flash with an actor that the younger crowd would dig.
Superman and Batman need to be older and mature though IMHO.

My two choices for Supes in J.L. have always been either Eric Bana or Trucco.

There's just something about him to me that says Superman. I know different folks see different things though and thats kool.
