Speaking of Penguins, random question for the room:

Is this show worth a watch?

I don't think I ever sat down to watch a full episode of this, but I have some time on my hands from work and I'm wondering if I should add it to the watchlist.

Eh to call it garbage I feel is a bit much.
I'd call it garbage. I don't know what others are looking for, but I personally hate when something tries to be quirky and does so in the most basic, bland way possible.

Like as a story, it's a non-starter. No likable characters, no meaningful overall story arc, no creative spark. It's like watching something try to mimic things I genuinely love.

I feel like basic competence and a little bit of money leads to a lot of leeway for MCU projects I no longer feel like giving them, after they decided to snuff out any actual creative endeavors at Disney.

Willow was actually quirky, extremely gay, and totally fun. And I can't watch that anymore. Done wasting my time with crap like this.

7 year old me liked it. Joker needs to put some shoes on though.

I never finished it but it had its moments. I feel like Brave and the Bold was a much better show post-DCAU but so many Batman "fans" hated it because it was campier and it was on around the time of Nolan's TDK.

I have The Batman animated show on bluray which they just released.

For what it's worth, I think it's great. The music alone makes it worth watching.

It's not the best Batman show but I think it's worth a watch. I feel the first season struggles a bit trying to find it's footing but picks up a lot in the 2nd season with Batgirl's introduction. Nothing mind blowing but I think it's fun.

Glossy PS2-style 3D animation aside, the one Batman show that I wish had another season was Beware the Batman. It had a lot of potential.

I was truly happy when my kids got into it because it was much better than a lot of what they were watching beforehand. The character designs are definitely bizarre but I think that’s part of the charm. Joker has dreads and doesn’t wear shoes. Riddler is basically Marilyn Manson. But doggone it, it works. And it has an amazing opening theme music.

How much did you win by during week 1? That’s the real question.

(For those of you scoring at home, the guy with Billy Gunn as his avatar beat the guy with The Rock as his avatar by 90 points!)
You just wait for round 2 sir! Just remember, revenge is a dish best served cold!

Brave and the Bold is the gold standard for animated Batman imo.

All the proof @Snow Queen , @Ninjablade , and I ever needed.

I was shocked they chose Prof. Pyg to be in it. But then they turned him into a Winds and the Willows like thing.

I think I'm one episode behind on Agatha. It's pretty bad so far and I don't have particularly high standards.

Probably looks 10 times worse coming out at the same time as Penguin which I couldn't have imagined being any better.
Man, when Iceman, the most positive human being on the planet ain't got your back, what else is there to say?
