That film is THE definitive take on the book. I don’t care what anybody else says. If people disagree with me, then they’re wrong.
It's true, it is more faithful to the book than the 1971 version. Whether or not it's a better movie is debatable. I feel like if you were to do a "fantasy draft" picking elements from both movies and putting them into one you'd have a perfect adaptation (Gene Wilder's Wonka, Freddie Highmore's Charlie, 1971 Veruca, 1971 parents, 2005 Grandpa Joe because the 1971 version is a monster, etc.)

That's the response he would give regardless if he was in it or not lol

This really sucks, but not surprising!

But release date on Predator: Badlands! Yay!

Again, I don’t understand what’s so hard about Disney making a Blade movie in the year of our Lord 2024.

You have a 2 time Oscar Winner in the role: give him some black leather, top notch fight choreography, Dracula, a giant bat and some pithy dialogue worthy of the Daywalker.

But some mofos just want to keep ice skating uphill. :o

One of those dates better be X-Men.

But it’ll probably be this:

Have Johnny Blaze (still the coolest name in existence for a fictional character) in it, get Anya Taylor Joy back as a not racist Magik, have Sam Raimi to direct and I'm all in.
Raimi is probably going to be busy with Doctor Strange 3
