If either of these things are true, that's awful. Both are beyond stupid.

Not sure which is worse, but if that wretched show is super important for a movie that might take the cake. Might as well call Doomsday: "Nostalgia Baiting: The Homework Movie".

Let me guess, she eventually gets her power taken away by him in order to become God Emperor Doom so he can create Battleworld and swing his big d**k around to show how awesome he is. Because, god forbid a female character exist without needing to prop up another male character’s story. :whatever:

I mean, with how Gamora and Natasha were offed ultimately to forward Thanos and Clint’s respective storylines, I have very little faith in the Russo Brothers handling of Wanda without making her an accessory, just having her suffer and/or getting her power/agency taken away by the main villain.

Already rumors of an Agent Venom spinoff.

And yall said Venom was flopping :o All the Venom films have had legs
I told y'all Tom Hardy goofing around in Venom movies is money!
Andor was great. Andor didn't lean in to heavy on the nostalgia and the easter egg elements were woven into the plot intelligently.
Direct quote from my wife watching Clark and Lex and the streetfight fallout last week: “Good heavens, this is perfect writing and acting.”
Clark and Lex throwing hands to a Idles track is awesome

Denzel in a Steve McQueen project is something I have wanted see for a while.

I just need to see Denzel do a funny for a role one last time

Idk, I don't see Natasha as being killed to "forward Clint's story", she was a hero who made a sacrifice to stop Thanos. It gave Clint an emotional moment, yes, as it did for the rest of the OG Avengers, but its a moment that happens to characters all the time in fiction. It cheapens her sacrifice to say she just did to forward the men's stories.

With Wanda, it is also a common thing that happens in these types of stories, a character with power gets used/consumed by the villain who seeks power. Would it make it better if he does the same to others (eg Franklin, Beyonder, Kang, etc) as he's very likely to try to do? It'll be icky if there's a romance there like in the comics, but without it I don't see it as her "propping up" a male character, just being a source of power he wants for himself, as villains are wont to do. Was she just propping up Agatha's story in Wandavision, or was she being charmed and coerced by someone who wanted the power she had?

Gamora, though, agreed. They did her dirty.
I still find it preposterous that Thanos "loved" her, because they didn't set it up properly at all. All we'd heard prior to Infinity War was that she, like her siblings, was subjected to battling her siblings, with torture and body modifications in store for the loser. There was nothing to indicate he truly loved her.

Every time I see that scene I'm like, "bulls***, you can't lie to the Soul Stone, Thanos!" If he was to truly sacrifice that which he loved, he'd have to throw his own ego off that cliff. It'd be like Trump having to sacrifice the thing he truly loved... "well s**t"

James Gunn just posted that his dog was a good boy while they were filming the new season of Peacemaker and he didn’t urinate on set at all. So, at the very least, Gunn is responsible for less peeing on set than the previous guy who tried to take over the DC universe.

Recently I was talking to one of my coworkers about the show and he referred to Sofia as "Robb Stark's wife" and honestly the confusion speaks for itself.

Watched Penguin Episode 8 - a fantastic conclusion to a fascinating series.

I gotta say, that final sequence of events really shook me. While not completely unexpected, the conclusion still packed one helluva wallop. It's almost like the producers were saying that Oz is a remorseless monster and always was, and the joke is on the audience for (possibly) thinking otherwise...

I'm waiting on pins & needles for news of more content from the Reeves-Verse. And while I haven't watched any of the other 2024 critical darlings such as Shōgun, Baby Reindeer, or Fallout, I'm fully expecting Penguin to garner some serious Emmy consideration this year.

Or at least I would be if there was any indication we lived in a fair & just universe, which I'm seriously struggling with the older and sadder I become...

I've had Oona Chaplin and Cristin Milioti confused for years when they started appearing on certain shows 10 years ago especially when they were both on Black Mirror.

I strongly agree with everything except Strorm's mohawk. That ish is fire.

I mean I'm biased, anything Ororo rocks is fire. But we've had that mohawk for so long across media, it's sickening to me.

Give homegirl her classic long hair, some box braids, or just use the looks from her solo instead of that tired mohawk.

Tom Hardy and Logan Marshall-Green

Evan Rachel Wood and Rachel Broshanan

Victoria Justice and Nina Dobrev

Josh Duhamel and Timothy Olyphant

Natalie Portman and Keira Knightley
