It’s just as well the original guys stayed out of trouble during the early phases. I think recasting can work fine but with something that’s building you want to build on the momentum at the key time rather than for eg replacing RDJ after Avengers or Evans after TWS.

I could picture Adam Scott being married to Marisa Tomei. The fact that they still haven't acknowledged Uncle Ben in the MCU is bonkers.

I was surprised to learn she's in her 60's and he's in his 50's. They look good for their age.

Yeah, that is weird. I get that they don’t want to retread old territory and they set Stark up as Peter’s mentor but like… a hero can have more than one mentor. Bruce had like 5 mentors in the Dark Knight trilogy.

Jonathan Majors had a much larger fall from grace than Tenoch Huerta but even if they did decide to recast Namor I don't think anyone would really miss him. Though if they bring Namor into the fold with the F4 as with the comics, everyone's gonna have a hard time believing Sue would leave Pedro Pascal for him.

The whole Namor thing is something honestly they could just toy with in some Avengers movie or something down the line, since a Namor centered project is unlikely at this point. But I don't think we need a FF sequel centered on Namor. Wakanda Forever more or less ate that idea's lunch IMO. Frankly, I am not sure when or if Namor is seen again.

It's a shame because Namor was one of the main characters I've wanted to see since the pre-Avengers days.

Dr. Strange, Black Panther, and Namor were the three B-listers I thought had more potential than most.

I'm overall happy with how all three turned out and was looking forward to seeing Namor again. Doesn't feel like that's in the cards

To be fair, Huerta was just beginning to get into Hollywood, he was mostly a Mexican actor. So, you would have to follow Mexican productions to have a better idea of the fallout of the accusations.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if MCU Ben and May divorced and Peter was living with Ben when he died, and Peter had to move in with May. It would certainly explain why she wasn't buried with him in NWH.
