I think they hired the fight choreographer from the original series, so hopefully the action will deliver at least.

Which would've given us the Netflix show regurgitated... which wouldn't give us anything new or fresh.

And then people would still complain that it wasn't as good as what we got before.

You are fighting a losing fight my friend. People will complain no matter what. Even if DDS4 is the best season yet, it will never be viewed that way. You have your own opinion as everyone else does.

The MCU phases 1-3, if you think about it, was basically an amalgamation of the classic 616 and the Ultimate Marvel universes that mixed and matched certain elements from both into one thing. I wonder if this Lanterns show is going to be an amalgamation of the classic Green Lantern lore and the Earth One comics.

I’m suspecting there will be some Earth One tonal influence, but that the story will very much be its own thing. I really think the classic Lantern lore will be gradually eased into here. Kinda like the more fantastical elements of the Watchmen show.

I think a lot of the footage looks "rough". But I think it's down to a lot practical and interesting techniques. Which overall is a good thing. Also 5 months away.

I will tell you I was yelling at my TV by the 15th time we had a "Heroes don't kill" "Yeah but I DOOOOOOO!!!" I seriously wanted to punch The Rock in the face by that point and it took only like....25 mins to get to that point!
