Black Adam is a funny movie to me. It definitely sucks, but watching the Rock kiss his own ass, while talented folk around him try to make something decent out of a bad situation, is interesting viewing for me. Not good, but interesting.

Strongest thing about that movie was the JSA. At least, I wanted to see more of THOSE characters.

I know I watched Black Adam when it came out on HBO a few years back. I remember being off for Christmas holiday and it being cold outside.

I always figured Reynolds would stick around for a while as DP, doesn't even matter if he gets old it can be mostly a voiceover role for him

But yeah, as much as I love Jackman and was glad to see him get an MCU moment, I don't want Old Man Logan for the next decade

Yeah, Ryan Reynolds would be pretty hard to replace as Deadpool but Jackman being the ONLY Wolverine for the foreseeable future is ridiculous. Not quite as ridiculous as RDJ as Doom but it's like if Batman was still being played by Michael Keaton for the last 30 years. Jackman's been great but he isn't irreplaceable.

Yep. Sean Connery is my definitive Bond and favourite after all this time, but most of my favourite Bond films came after he was done. As long as there are top actors around, the possibility of the magic happening again will always be there, and even a serviceable replacement for a given actor can take part in a film that is overall as good, if other parts (eg supporting actors/plot/villain/dialogue) are better than in the films where that actor starred.

I would be fine with an Old Man Logan hanging around as long as we also got a young Wolverine in for the much longer term future. It's one of Marvel's overall biggest characters as well as being important to X-Men so I hope they get it right whatever they go with.
