Deadline says that the first Fantastic Four: The First Steps trailer will debut at the Super Bowl:

‘Jurassic World Rebirth’, ‘Thunderbolts*’, ‘Mission: Impossible – Final Reckoning’ Among Expected Super Bowl LIX Movie Trailers

Disney, Paramount and Universal are willing to pony up $7.5 million-$8 million for a 30-second trailer spot during this year's Super Bowl.

Really looking forward to that F4 trailer and hopefully Disney/Marvel comes out strong and swinging with that one because as far as first trailers go it needs to look great and get people excited like the Superman trailer.

I'm also looking forward to whatever they show for JW Rebirth even though I really didn't like Dominion. No idea how the movie itself will turnout but Universal usually puts out some pretty banger Superbowl spots for the JW movies. I just hope the movie is actually good this time around.

Must be fun having to think of a possible way to handwave away stuff like this. “I think he hit his head 2 minutes before being asked/he chose the tranquiliser instead of spinach at the buffet/he was asked right at the peak moment during his colonic irrigation”.

I once was in a situation where an older guy was talking in a group discussion and he intended to say “people of color” but in a moment of confusion said “colored people.” When this was pointed out to him he was very embarrassed and repentant and explained his confusion and asked people to extend him some grace and leeway for his error. I think that is an example of someone misspeaking.

In this day and age, if you drop the word “woke” in making a statement, you know exactly what you are trying to convey. There is no mistake. There is no misspeaking there. The guy in my previous example was upset that he had offended and hurt people who he respected and he apologized accordingly and explained his error. But this voice actor guy is just upset that his racism might hurt his bottom line.

I don't feel one way or another about Cap or Thunderbolts, but Fantastic Four should be an appointment film. Everything about it so far is nothing but good vibes.

Ok, I caved and watched Friendly Neighborhood. I went into this with both arms firmly crossed and I'm onboard. The trailers made this look like a silly, slapsticky piece of crap like that Ultimate Spiderman cartoon but this i actually felt was thoughtfully written and yeah some parts are cringe and dont land,but on a whole this...works so far. The end of the second episode provides a nice interesting hook for the rest of the series.

DeWanda Wise was born to be Storm, i just fear she's too "old" for what they're going for. I feel like theyre going to aim for a 20-something xmen team.

Lovie Simone is my pick for a twenty something Storm.
