Yeah rewatching those commercials just now, I haven't thought about these songs in 25 years.

I need to thank you for breaking me out of my R&B vortex, because since DWayne Wiggins died I've been blasting Tony! Toni! Tone! the last couple of days.

This is also reason #4562 why these studios and directors need to make needle drops mean something again. Quit being cheap and pay the licensing and perpetuity fees too

There's really no wrong answer since they're both classics but I've always preferred Alien, mainly for the horror vibe.

That said, and this may or may not be a hot take but I think Aliens is Cameron's best script. So many classic lines in that one just from the Marines alone, but he didn't come up with "Game over, man! Game over!" That was all Bill Paxton.

Actually I once was at a party and Ice Ice Baby was blasting and I saw a girl across the room and I walked up to her intending to strike up a conversation, but as I get about 8 feet away I hear her say “gun shots rang out like a bell. I grabbed for my nine but all I heard were shells…” and for some reason any interest I had in her left my body at that exact moment and I kept walking past her.

Total double standards, I know

That's what I'm trying to figure out because that was more memorable than any Super Bowl commercial this year. Those ads are kind of a dying art anyway. They all feel like AI-generated garbage now.
