Whedon can rot in seclusion for the rest of his life, but at least the man understood the point of Thanos. I'll never be over people being gaslit by Gurney's voice that the Russos Thanos is actually a decent character.

and if you've read into any of the BTS of MOM's production, that film would've been completely different too. Derrickson's original pitch that was a part of this road map shares next to nothing in common with the final product.

Not to mention NWH changed a bit because of the shifting schedules, though not nearly as drastically.
If I remember correctly NWH was suppose to come after Strange 2, and America was suppose to be in it.

Which reminds me I really, really liked America. Would be nice to see her again!

5 year wait for a Strange sequel at best, after a 6 year wait for his sequel. Over a decade of Cumberbatch aging and for what? So Feige could do the Eternals? Echo? Agatha? A first movie for a dead character?

I really do not get what Feige's plan was. Even before Majors proved to be awful.

I think the point is, post Endgame, it really wasn't Feige's plan. Remember, he took his eye off the ball, letting his lieutenants work on what he thought was an adamentium foundation. And I think those picking up his reigns thought they were invincible. There was not need to jump at proven successes, or even attempt to build on potential successes. And they were in full agreement with Chapek that Disney+ was the future. I understand the pandemic threw a lot of wrenches into movie plans.

Yeah, once they started settling a little bit more into what MOM's general premise was going to be, it would've closer ties.

I believe what they were toying around with was that America would do the mind spell for Peter, which is why when it goes haywire it affects the multiverse. Then Strange is there to clean it up, which would explain some of his callousness about getting everyone home immediately. So, really just a matter of the major first act stupidity being a lot cleaner.

And Wandavision making sense!

People really want "Thanos was right" to be on par of "Magneto was right" is completely frustrating. That the Russos wanted to entertain that thought is just an early sign of them huffing their own overrated farts.

Years of Buffy and Angel has me curious on what Whedon would have done with Thanos.

Just finished Thor Love & Thunder, and I still say this movie is so underrated. Yeah, maybe it gets a bit over the top at times with the improv comedy, but the ending of the movie when they get to Eternity is just so good

It's been a minute since I watched it, but loved, loved Natalie Portman the most in it.

If F4 doesn't review well I can't imagine how the fanbase will react. It will almost certainly mean a poor BO return.

It would certainly poison the brand to probably unsalvageable levels. F4 since this is their second attempt at rebooting.
