Interesting. Superman's seems to have gone down from initial projections. But FF's went up when we got this same type of report.
Superman will be heavily review based. It's also a trade. Not great at this stuff.

So nothing to do with movies but...it's my birthday today and my girlfriend of 15 years (yes I know lol) and I decided to go get our marriage license this morning.

No big deal or anything :o :oldrazz:

The only bit of good news today!

Happy Birthday my guy and congratulations to you and your lady!

That is so awesome to hear! Wishing you all the best for today! :D

Stay cool!

FF is projecting to make more than Supes?

When predictions first came out, FF was in the 125-136 range but then other outlets after a week or so raised that ceiling to $155. Here, Deadline is saying Superman's are lower. In the end, we will see where we end up. But Deadline is getting that from somewhere

I was almost certain Superman (and maybe even FF) would go on sale here before the midsummer weekend, but no such luck. I want my tickets!! :supes:

They're putting it around $135 mil at Hollywood Reporter. But they don't offer a true range like Deadline did. They cite the same thing of some places going as low as 90-125 like Deadline did, but NRG I guess has a range of 125-145. So NRG would have this and FF in roughly similar range.

No matter who makes more money, it doesn’t change the fact that Jake Schreier and some random Englishman is going to handle the Uncanny X-Men.

I want to meet with Feige and ask him WTF

Only at Marvel Studios (and if you’re Snyder) can you fail upwards. :csad:

I believe one of the trades stated the 90-125m number is from WB. Which sounds exactly like they're low balling it on purpose.

Don't forget produced and developed by the Russos :o

I resigned myself to that news weeks ago when it was first reported he was in talks. So this doesn't phase me that much lol

I mean the movie reviewed really well and I thought it was a top 5 effort from the studio. Do you only count success in pennies and dimes, Shaw?

I think Shaw was waiting for someone like a Coogler circa Black Panther in 2018 to come our and do X-Men, and not a boring white dude

Man I’m over it.

After FF, the only movie from Marvel I’ll be interested in is Black Panther 3 and the inevitable FF sequel.

The movie still underperformed and just because he’s arguably talented with The New Avengers, doesn’t mean he’s equipped to handle the new mutants.

But this is Feige’s new avatar so whatever.

If Shaw's fear is boring white dudes, I'm confused why he's excited for F4. :o

Coogler was never doing X-Men. He's finishing BP and doing more original stuff.
