He's working on a ****ing Carrie show. Which yeah, I think will be good. But we already have a great Carrie movie. It's the same with another Exorcist. I want my Dark Tower!

Seriously.

I absolutely love Flanagan. But I’m officially BOYCOTTING anything Flanagan does until he gets off his ass and makes The Dark Tower, dammit! :cmad:

And given that his current slate include a Clayface movie that no one asked for, Carrie Remake #23 and another damned Exorcist movie, that shouldn’t be too hard.

but I never saw the sequel either.

I dug the sequel a lot, it's got one of the best openings to a horror film and the rest is pretty gnarly and disturbing in a more action pack way.

Also the sequel had a boatload of stars right before they really got mainstream status like Idris Elba, Jeremy Renner, Rose Byrne, and Imogen Poots.

When Robin Williams showed up I lost it and it just went downhill from there.

Yeah... whew. I wasn't ready.

Also interesting to learn about the full extent of Reeve's injury, growing up I always knew him as wheelchair bound and didn't know the full story. He overcame A LOT after that fall.

A Superman indeed.

I really have no interest in either of those characters being the main antagonist in Part II, but for the sake of worldbuilding, I wouldn’t mind them having a side arc similar to Oz

I agree. Clayface I can take for a fun, body horror, but they keep going to the same Rogues Gallery well.

Ventriloquist, Deacon Blackfire, Pyg and Freeze are all right there.

I've only seen the first one and thought it was good. Never felt the need for a sequel, though.

Looks like WBD may be gearing up for a merger, with the incoming Trump admin. making it easier to accomplish that.
