Maybe by the end of the film, if they do end up being the Dark Avengers
I could see it being US Agent (Cap), White Widow (Black Widow), Ghost (Hawkeye (she has a Bow and Arrow in the trailer!)), Songbird (Iron Man, I guess, because she flies and has blasts), Abomination (Hulk), and maybe Sentry in the Thor role

Idk, probably wishful thinking, but who knows where this one'll end up
Zemo returning from the dead. :o

That'd be cool.

I'll be surprised if it doesn't turn out that Geraldine Viswanathan is playing Songbird. Her playing a character called Mel in a Thunderbolts movie seems like too much of a coincidence.

The continued degradation of logos by making them look simple af.

Impact Bold! Awesome. :o

I guess the reason why they changed the original logo is because they're going to end up being called Dark Avengers and the font being the same was a little too on the nose?

Was it really that difficult to add the asterisk to the original?
The asterisk being part of it at all is stupid. If the team's name changes by the end of the movie, just have the title morph in the end credits like they did with Falcon and the Winter Soldier becoming "Captain America and the Winter Soldier" at the end of the final episode.

Will Yelena and Red Guardian become Avengers after this? 🤔

The Avengers are like the Olive Garden of the MCU. If you show up, you're family (unless you're X-Men or Fantastic Four :o)

So... how many of us will be going to see Cap 4 this week?

I'm going. Not sure when exactly but it'll be sometime before Saturday afternoon. I'm not expecting it to be a Quantumania-level disaster but I'm not expecting to be impressed either. This is a textbook definition "walk in with a blank slate of expectations" type of movie for me.

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm going in expecting it to be on the level of 'Ant Man & The Wasp' level of enjoyment for me.

That was a movie where I didn't have any expectations, but I wound up liking it a whole lot.

I liked Ant-Man and the Wasp a lot when it came out, less so on repeat viewings but that might have been because of the Infinity War high, same thing with seeing Far From Home after Endgame. I also feel like the mid-credits scene tying directly into the snap got me all hyped up and leaving the theater with that kind of rush tricked me into thinking AMATW was better than it actually was. I still don't think it's bad (IMO Quantumania is the only true bad MCU movie so far) but it's still in my bottom 5 for the MCU.

I guess being outright bad is better than boring like The Eternals.

I remember somebody on here blamed Marvel for that movie because they "forced the director to keep pre-storyboarded action sequences in", and I am like.... the action scenes are the best part of that movie. What else did it have going for it? The awkward sex scene on the beach?

If Eternals dropped the deviant villain and cast... pretty much anyone else as Sersi... I would've loved it

Thena getting Eternals Alzheimer's instead may have been a mistake there because that would have made Sersi more interesting at least. But I guess they assumed my ex is the villain was good enough to them. :o

Anytime Marvel steps out of their comfort zone, folks act brand new. :sneeze:
Eternals has plenty of flaws but I think the hate for it was overblown. There is a lot about it that I liked but, and we've talked about this before but I still think it would have fared better as a series because IMO the biggest issue was introducing 10 new characters all at once in a 2 hour 40 minute film. It also doesn't help that the two least interesting Eternals (Sersi and Ikaris) have the most screentime and the more interesting ones like Druig and Gilgamesh get table scraps for development.
