Unpopular opinion: Jason was always cooler than Tommy, and never should've been demoted. Insane work by Zordon to make the guy that *lost* the fight the higher rank.
I never really felt one way or another about it because I liked both Jason and Tommy. I tend to forget that Jason, Zack and Trini were still on the show when Tommy became the White Ranger. I'm not 100% sure but I think the decision to make Tommy the new leader happened after Austin St. John, Walter Jones and Thuy Trang decided to walk. Otherwise if they had stayed Jason might still have remained the leader. If anything that decision should have been made by Zordon within the context of the show AFTER Jason, Trini and Zack left because that only happened maybe a handful of episodes after Tommy made his debut as the White Ranger.

I’ll go one step further: I think Tommy was always overrated and people only remember him for being the evil Green Ranger and the whole mystery of the identity of the White Ranger leading up to and after the reveal. I bet if you asked any fans why they liked him, those would be the only two things they would be able to think of off the top of their heads (maybe also the time when he was losing his powers) and that’s it.

Besides, we all know the actual real MVP of the group was Billy. Insecure nerd and technical genius who grows to become more confident and competent in fighting. Helped solve many of the problems the team faced. Helps to develop a whole bunch of tech that we see in a lot of the shows throughout his time and involvement with the Rangers. When all of the Rangers turned into kids during the Alien Rangers season, he figures out a way to change himself back into an adult and almost did so for the rest of the team before the technology and coins were stolen and destroyed by Goldar.

He’s basically Tony Stark without any of the money and none of the ego. Without his expertise and know how, none of the Ranger teams throughout the nearly 30+ years probably wouldn’t haven been able to accomplish half the things they did, get to where they are or even exist in the first place. The Rangers as a whole owe everything and their entire existence to Billy.

On a more superficial level, Tommy was popular because he had cool armor and badass zords that functioned separately from the rest of the team. To this day the Dragonzord is just...:hmr:

Hell, Billy invented a flying car that could go to 0 to 3000 in 3 seconds and it was only used in a few episodes. :o

Power Rangers was way after my time, but I can see how it would’ve been cool.

I grew up with GI Joe:

Star Wars:

And my personal favorite, Kenner Super Powers:

A lot of people my age swore by He-Man but I didn’t like their squishy heads as a kid.
This was more my era as well. I loved the GI Joe/Star Wars figures because you could pose them however you wanted and do basically anything with them. You could really play with them instead of just kind of bash them together.

I like Ant-Man and the Wasp. It's an entertaining romp.
It's fine. Ant-Man 3 on the other hand is my least favorite of the bunch and one of the few I would actually classify as terrible.
The first two Ant-Man movies didn't pretend to be anything more than what they were: smaller scale superhero comedies with no massive stakes. The biggest swing they took in that regard was the mid-credits scene in the second movie and that might as well have been a cut credits scene from Infinity War. Trying to make Quantumania into a more "epic" MCU movie compared to the first two Ant-Man movies was a risky move that ultimately didn't pay off because of how much of a mess the script and VFX turned out to be. I get the reasoning for them including Kang in an established MCU franchise but Ant-Man wasn't the right one.

What’s really baffling is that they apparently learned nothing from how they set up their first big bad (Thanos). We really didn’t see that much of him throughout the first few phases; just a couple of post credits scenes and a small Palpatine-like appearance in GOTG. One could argue that we could have seen him a bit more but they planted enough seeds that it worked once he finally emerged in full force.

Now imagine if he was the main villain in GOTG and he got his ass handed to him by Star-Lord. Suddenly no one is going to think of this guy as a universal threat. What we got of (a weaker version of) Kang in Loki season 1 was a great set-up. They didn’t need to rush into giving one of the “real” Kangs a main villain role yet, and if they wanted to, Ant-Man was NOT the hero to take him on unless they planned to kill Ant-Man and Wasp (and probably the rest of their supporting cast) off.
