We will see how it holds next weekend and what international numbers are. I don't think they've been updated all week, so I don't even know what it is at internationally. Spider-Man Homecoming had a steep 2nd weekend drop, but granted a lot better international numbers cause he is Spider-Man.

It is what it is. We’re still seeing the F4 come back for the next two years and play major roles in the Avengers movies. Maybe just maybe IF those movies stick the landing that builds GA hunger for a full on sequel post Secret Wars.

It's already lagging behind Homecoming without real competition in it's 2nd weekend (Homecoming had Apes open to 56m), and has all the PLF screens. Next weekend it loses a lot of those to Weapons. Honestly, 300m might be a fight.

International reports have been quiet. From what I can see Europe has had some decent holds. Asia is as it has been for all superhero movies this year. That market collasping has hit the MCU so hard. Shaving a good 10-15% off these totals.

I don’t think Leo really got hit by twink death that way. He just has a totally different vibe as an adult rather than looking like a wrinkled little boy like Holland probably will.

It's kinda sad too because he gave up alcohol and that usually helps, but I think you have a point.

Very big 66% drop for F4. $600 million total is gone, I don't think it will even reach $550 million.

Given how the first weekend performed, it might not be done dropping. I need to see some updated international numbers.

Leo turned into the man Scorsese saw him during the filming of The Aviator. Helped by the fact that he's near 6 feet and has the frame for it. Holland's proportions add to his general teen look.

To an extent I agree, especially now that he isn't playing romantic leads and seems willing to take more oddball roles like Calvin Candy and the new PTA film. But you can still really see how his boyish cheeks haven't aged great.

I feel bad for the runner-up, Asa Butterfield, as well, who I think is a massively superior actor and would probably have made an even better Spider-Man. Poor guy is almost thirty and resorting to a goatee and ear ring to try and look older so people will stop casting him as teenagers:
