At first I thought Are you afraid of the Dark was going to be lame, but a friend got me into it and I actually liked a number of episodes. I remember one where some kid was in a mall all by himself at night. Can't remember much else since it was a long time ago but I remember it being creepy.

Yes, Hey Dude did suck. Same friend that got me into Afraid of the Dark tried to get me into that one but no way!

Jesus Christ, Are You Afraid of the Dark scared the **** out of me. I was only like 5 or 6 when that show was on, and my sister would be like "Get out of here, you have to be 7 to watch this!" So I'd watch through the crack in the door.

Two of my favorites were the ones that had that wacky dude from the comic books, and everyone ended up spinning their heads 360 degrees and spitting blue crap out of their mouths. The other one had some scary dude who lived in a pool at a high school or something.

And then I remember other weird, various bits... like some kid who was dead but only his sister knew it. And one with a dollhouse and a door that led to like nothing. And something about silence in a library. And Mr. Sardo.

Wow. What a great show.
