Jesus Christ, Are You Afraid of the Dark scared the **** out of me. I was only like 5 or 6 when that show was on, and my sister would be like "Get out of here, you have to be 7 to watch this!" So I'd watch through the crack in the door.

LOL, did you ever wet yourself? I remember I used to sit in the hallway which had a direct line of sight to the TV in the living room when my parents would put on rated R movies that they wanted to watch first to see if it was that bad for me.

Two of my favorites were the ones that had that wacky dude from the comic books, and everyone ended up spinning their heads 360 degrees and spitting blue crap out of their mouths. The other one had some scary dude who lived in a pool at a high school or something.

And then I remember other weird, various bits... like some kid who was dead but only his sister knew it. And one with a dollhouse and a door that led to like nothing. And something about silence in a library. And Mr. Sardo.

Wow. What a great show.

I remember the dollhouse and door that led to nothign!!!

when I found out that Carlos Alazraqui was rockos voice I almost died.

Ha, I know isn't that great? I loved that entire voice cast. Tom Kenny, Mr. Lawrence and Charlie Adler are voice Gods in my book.

I remember one about some kid who died in a bicycle accident and he turned into a ghost or something.

And I remember one with like some vampire looking guy had enormous fingernails and he stuck his head out from a doorway. I think it was in the opening titles.

Rocko's Modern Life was one of my favorites. It's a classic. I named my dog after his dog (Spunky)

My favorite episode is the one where Heifer has the burping talent and his father was ashamed of him for it... anyone know what I'm talking about?

there is definitely something wrong with Garcia being involved in a childrens show. Its like Thomas the Train being hosted by George Carlin all over again.

I just remembered one:

The Adventures of Pete and Pete!

Classic.

AHHH!!! I can't believe they canceled the release of the Season 3 DVD. Nickelodeon is so full of s**t. That show is a classic. I still need to pick up the first two seasons.

I mean, for God's sake... THE GUEST STARS were amazing. Iggy Pop as Nona F. Mecklenberg's dad? STEVE BUSCEMI as Ellen's dad?!?! I love that episode with him and the RV race car.

And all those great characters... Stu the bus driver, Pitstain, Papercut. And who can forget ARTIE (the strongest man in the world, mind you...)?!?!?!

Oh man. Just so off beat and classic. Kids don't have s**t now.

And for the record, I have a pretty good memory... haha :)

We don't get the series of Reno 911 over here, but I got to watch the film.

The Boobies/Whale scene and the jerking off scene made me laugh out loud.

LOL, I don't remember any of that. Just the names and the main characters.

I was obsessed with SpongeBob, so that kept me occupied with all the other ****ty shows on Nickelodeon as I got older.

SpongeBob is just about the ONLY good thing Nick has going for it right now. And the reason that it's actually any good is because many of the key players who work on the show are Rocko alumni, such as creator Steven Hillenburg and voice talents Tom Kenny (SpongeBob, also did Heffer and tons of side voices) and Mr. Lawrence (Plankton, also did Filburt).

Though I do admit, Drake and Josh is pretty damn entertaining. They're like the new Kenan and Kel, I suppose.

Tom Kenny is a genius.

And Drake and Josh have their moments.

Agreed. Although, I think the studio made him change the SpongeBob voice after Season 3. Why, I don't know. Probably some cockamaney story about appealing to kids and something, blah blah, s**t s**t. You can tell, because it's actually a little grating at times.

Probably to make his SpongeBob sound a little less gay.

HAHA, I'd love to see what they don't show on screen. I really think Sponge and Patrick are gay together.

Do you really think the artists for the show produce homoerotic spongebob scenes?

(please tell me you don't think it's a reality show...)

:oldrazz:

Look no further than the episode "The Fry Cook Games". That ending is still disturbing... hahaha! :oldrazz:

I wish they would. They could show it on Comedy Central or something. HAHAHA.

LOL, I remember that. Totally un-called for.

Haha, for sure. Still, I couldn't help but laugh. Plus, that being so disturbing totally brought me back to the days of seeing people get outraged over the things that happened on Ren and Stimpy. It was great. Gotta love controversy! :word:

That episode still cracked me up though.

My favorite was when SpongeBob and like every other character on the show sang that song, I couldn't stop laughing. I can't remember the name of the episode though.
