Coolness. Lol...onesies...Jack Sparrow.

Creation Festival is a week long event where you camp out in the wilderness and dedicate yourself to praising God. There's rock concerts, comedians, speakers and all kinds of stuff there all week long. Bands like Switchfoot and Flyleaf were there this year. It's like Woodstock but for Christians, if that makes any sense. There is Creation Fest East and West. I went to the East one obviously, which was in Mount Union, Pennsylvania. (a 3 hour drive from my home-town of Bloomsburg)

Ah... cool. Definitely not my thing but I'm glad you had a good time

Good question.

Matchbox! Speak! :ninja:

EDIT: AAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaand you did while I was posting this. Damn it. :p
Behold, I have spoken :woot:

Yep, thanks. It was an amazing experience and I'm planning to go next year. While I'm at it, I'm thinking about getting in touch with Lifehouse and seeing if they can come next year.

Ah, the friend I just lost was British, actually. Nice girl. I thought we had something but... I dunno, it got all screwed up. I've been around the block a few times and at this point I'm just tired of it. That was one that just fell in my lap, as it were, and I really... I dunno, it... it didn't work. I miss her.

D'oh. Just hand me the shovel now and get it over with :( The first guy I chased after online I actually met on here during the BB hype. Same sort of situation - I thought something was there and I was oh-so-wrong and got oh-so-burned. Just when I was about to swear off the internet for this type of thing, Ian happened out of the blue. *shrug

I guess one of the reasons I like you is that your very presence kind of helped to show me that there were others besides her. And you being closer to my age shows me something else, too. Younger women are a pain in the ass. ;)

We're all born a certain degree of psycho and most of us outgrow it as we age ;) But yeah... younger women may be "hawt" but they are most definitely pains in the ass. My friend Jason is 26 and dating a 20 year old. She calls him every 5 seconds (I'm literally not joking) and just HANGS all over him because she hasn't learned yet that it is completely stifling behavior. I was even a bit psycho when I was younger and married but I've tried to learn some lessons from it and ditch a bit of the psycho-ness.

If anything... go for the ones around your age or older. After all... women don't hit their sexual peak until 35 ;)

I don't think I'll cross any lines. I just like playing.
I don't think you will either :) but you seemed concerned that you would or did so...

You know, I've yet to meet a girl that's interested in Batman, or Superheros at all. There's this one idiot gothic/emo/whatever you call them girl whose friends call her Batman because they're all so unique and different. Pisses me off. Anyone at my school who does like Batman (there aren't many) likes him in a "yeah, he's a badass" way, not a "he's such a deep and complex character" way.

Awww, and I missed out on the music discussion. Anybody like Steppenwolf? Ok Go? Nobody? *walks away with figurative tail between his legs*

Unless you're talking about in real life... 'cause.. you know... we might not really exist... or we might be hairy old fat men pretending to be Bat-loving women...
:o

You sound like you're in high school... wait until you get to the wonderful world of college. Things get better :D

Yeah, I did mean in real life, for all I know you are the result of an unbalanced equation. An anomoly. And I am in highschool, unless you are a hairy old fat man, in which case I'm a muscular, 6' 10' football player and I own many guns.

LOL, no, you're fine. :)

Hehehe... well, that's really what it is, I keep meeting these younger women, and, you know... they SEEM so mature - if they were like Jason's gal that you just described, I don't think I could handle it - the ones I like always seem mature but I'm starting to suspect that what I mistake for maturity is actually something else. Damage of some kind. Not that I know anybody who isn't damaged - myself included. But you see what I mean.

That's what I hear. ;) Nah, the problem, honestly, I don't meet them my age and single, let alone my age, single, and interesting. The last on was 23. The last time I had a g/f the same basic age as me was in college, which means we were both young and stupid, so that didn't work so well anyway. :woot:

I don't think you will either :) but you seemed concerned that you would or did so...

Needed to make sure. Last thing I wanted was to scare you off. Last thing I need, at that.

You never know... I could go for that sort of thing

EDIT: The more I look at that, the more disturbing I find it...

She has a pretty cute everything. :ninja:.
That's because you're 14. When I was that age I drooled over a peg-leg with a nice rack. Our standards are low that early in the game. :o

LOL. Just looking back at some of the girlfriends I had last year make me go "Ew."

My girlfriends around that age were all named after weekdays; for the only day I'd spend time with them. :o

Maturity is any easy thing to fake on a very superficial level (I have to at least *pretend* at work...). It's also easy to THINK you're mature and really now be. Exmaple: I was 20 when I got married. I though every facet of my decision was well thought out and "mature". It was all a flaming sack of bull****. I look back now and think to myself, "I knew absolutely nothing" but I thought I knew everything and I distinctly remember telling people (in so many words) that I knew everything. There are some things can learn to set you on the path to being TRULY mature until you've been burned a few times (or a lot of times in my case). Beware the young'uns... when you're the same age at least you're equally immature/think you're mature.
