Yeah, SNL's Vanessa Bayer stars, directed by Brett Ratner!

Waiting patiently for a Back to the Future remake.

Chloe Grace Moretz as Martina McFly
Amy Schumer as "Doc" Emily Brown

These tv spots are a joke, continually looks like a film-school gag remake.

So the character from Hairspray died and became a ghost?

Just saw the latest tv spots. The bike suspended in the air, spinning around and around, McCarthy flying in the air when using the proton pack, and the "get squashed by the Stay-Puft balloon gag" were not funny at all. Those were cringe worthy.

Pixels vibes all the way

This film seems to fit with the general "meh" vibe of films this summer.

Films like, Tarzan, BFG, XMA, Alice through the Looking Glass, Independence Day 2, etc, weren't films that the public really asked for , and Ghostbusters looks like it fits right in.

I thought the female slimmer was just you guys trolling :csad::csad::csad:

Here's a question that I think has been addressed: When was it ever established that the original Slimer was male?

Rumour of the day... The embargo will not be lifted until the day of release.

We have recently learned that the review embargo got extended from Monday morning to Monday evening to when the movie opens. I have reason to believe this is because many reviews from established outlets are mixed to negative, so they want to keep a lid on it. Only select fans who they know will say positive stuff are allowed to speak early.

Well I mean it was made by the same studio as pixels so it makes sense why it's got that vibe too it.

So, a lot of times they throw a lot of crap at the wall to see what sticks. The most recent trailers are showcasing all the parts that I thought would have been cut after the test screening process. I find myself getting discouraged that maybe they cut all the things I liked, and left in all those terrible jokes.

As it is, they are not showing any story details, or character moments. They are not showing the friendships, hardships or struggles. They haven't shown the villain in his corporeal form, or any of the good stuff that was in the cut I saw. It's a bad move...I don't know what the hell these idiots in marketing are doing. I also don't know why the Slimer joy ride made the final cut. I can only hope that those are trailer only inclusions to try and up the nostalgia.

They also feature stuff that isn't in movie in TV spots as well. No way to know until you see the movie.

From what I understand , Slimmer was created as a nod to SNl Legend, and orignal GB collaborator , John Belushi.

He died while the project was in early development , so they created the slimmer character as a way of sort of paying tribute to him . So yeah, I guess it could be assumed slimmer was a male.

I guess I was just thinking that if they *had* to have a female Slimer, they could have done better than just taking the original Slimer design and slapping lipstick and a stereotypical hairdo on it.

It's funny 'cause they paint Hemsworth as dumb for putting boobs in the GB logo and then they go and put a girly wig on Slimer

Paul Feig announced today that he is actually a woman in an elaborate man costume only to breakthrough sexist Hollywood. This movie is now 100% feminily complete.
