I don't know if he was aware that Shado raped Ollie. Either way, it's pretty bad judgment on his part; but, hey, Mia thought she actually had a shot with Connor, Roy's ****ed both Grace and Hawkgirl, and Dinah's marrying Ollie, so it runs through the whole Arrow clan.

yeah, i really hate that dc made it's only overtly liberal character such an *******. yeah, i'm sure a lot of liberals are *******s, but that doesn't really represent us well. i like the fact that he's not a boring, squeaky-clean farm boy like superman, and he's got a lot of interesting complexities and flaws, but it's almost as if they've purposely tried to turn people off from him, which sucks. i guess they're giving him a little more character development these days by having him mature and become a little less self-involved and more loyal to his "family", but i have a feeling that won't last. i hope it does, but i won't hold my breath on it.

Most of the far left liberals I know are small minded and quick to judge. Then again my friends on the far right are also like that.

Extremists in general are small-minded and quick to judge. It's part of what makes them extremists. I don't think Ollie's really any sort of extremist, though. He's pretty Liberal, but he's still close enough to the moderate middle that he just annoys people who disagree with his views rather than slaughtering them wholesale.

Well.. Connor did not ***** Shado.. they kissed!, and it was in that miniseries he first learned that he has a brother. and Mia was in love (teenage crush) with everyone in that house :P like in "Ultimate Speedy" she fantasized about doing Ollie in the kitchen :P

I find it odd that Connor didn't confront his father about Robert

I don't. Judd Winick hates Connor. He's made it abundantly clear throughout his tenure as writer.

Kissed, ****ed, it's all the same in comics. The point I meant was that Connor should've known better than to allow himself to get into any sort of relationship with Shado, knowing who she is and what she's done. He admits in the series that she corrupted his father, yet there he is going right along with her and, by the end, letting himself be corrupted as well.
