i have a steelbook for every marvel movie except Thor: The Dark World cuz i was too late. which ones are you thinking of? lol

I was referring to trying to pre order Doctor Strange steelbook. Remember the one day the Steelbook appeared on the Best Buy site for the first time, it had the sku and everything for each version Bluray/DVD and Bluray/3d then they disappeared later in the day.

There hasn't been a DVD and Bluray combo in quite awhile I think since before Age of Ultron

today I pick up Pop Flash and Star Lord Vol 2 Of Guardians of the Galaxy

I have yet to see any NEW items for GotG2. Actually the ONLY thing's I've seen was a "guidebook" labeled Gotg2 but was rehashed the first Gotg. Same with the Prequel comic

Picked up the Star Lord Legends. Target had it and the Infinite Star Lord. I couldn't see paying $5 more for what they gave you and the face wasn't even close

The infinite series is a re-release of the groot wave.. target only. Due to the fact they still had soo many in warehouses.

the titus wave is vastly superior, not even a debate to be had.

that also being said, I would have recommended passing on this star lord.. for he does not have a BAF piece... and he's getting a re-release in a 2 pack with Ego, as well as another Movie version (long coat and scarf) in the next "Mantis" wave which is mostly all movie figures

but yes, the new waves sculpts are spot on and beautiful figures

I plan on getting the Evolution Groot so I'm not really going to bother trying to get all those pieces.

I snagged the Evolution Groot at TRU on Wednesday on my way to the Comic Shop. On sale too, for $17.11. I got Star Lord too, only because he was so cheap!

My latest buy is a second-hand Hot Toys DX10 Terminator. Good price, very happy with it. When I was a kid, my weekends were basically made up entirely of Robocop (my all-time favourite film) and Terminator... and Robocop vs. Terminator on the SNES. So, naturally, I posed him with Robocop...

Picked up Assassins Creed Lineage for $3.74 at Walmart

picked up Yondu and Drax. I have Yondu posed with the Whistling head and the Arrow coming out of the holster

Target literally is ripping everyone off.. these were all peg warming 2 years ago and in clearance bins.. and now target brought them back to coincide with Volume 2.. and charging $3 more than the Volume 2 wave..

especially when GOTG v2 Wave 2 is coming out this summer with a much better (and articulated) Rocket, Gamora, Nebula, and Mantis...

infact.. im selling all my GOTG 1 figures.. they're terrible compared to the new stuff

i feel like you're confused? (sorry if not) you just didn't really answer what i asked.

the original GOTG wave came out for the first film, with BAF Groot in 2014. The wave aside from a few figures really peg warmed, and caused alot of inventory back-up for other legends lines. Most were pretty unhappy at alot of the sculpts. (starlord and gamora specifically looked awful compared to their movie counterparts) and the paint tones on groot were pretty cheaply done.



Target then cut a deal with hasbro to get rid of back stock still sitting in warehouses, to "re-release" in a way, this old wave.. and upped the price of them ($23), and put it along side the new GOTG Volume 2 Wave 1 set (which is $20).. which includes the BAF of titus. This wave actually comes with a starlord that actually looks like pratt, and Yondu looks fantastic as well... this set is currently popping up almost everywhere.



Coinciding with GOTG Volume 2, wave 1 is the Toys R Us exclusive "evolutions of groot" this groot comes with a potted GOTG 1 groot, and a GOTG V2 baby groot. The paint apps and head sculpt were changed on adult groot to better represent his movie look. and was a vast improvement over the build a figure.



During NYCC Toyfair 2017 last month, Hasbro Reveled wave 2 of the GOTG V2 wave 2 figures.. the BAF for this wave will be Movie Mantis. and include superior versions of Gamora and Rocket that actually look like their movie counterparts.. movie nebula and baby groot are also in the wave, as well as yet another starlord.

I know you're aware of some of this info (just mapping it all out if anything is missed, and to let others know)

But I wanted you to be aware that there's much better figures coming out than that GOTG wave 1 BAF groot wave... and a wave that most not consider worth that $3 price hike.. especially with all this new (and better) stuff coming out. wouldn't want you to feel like you wasted money on something sub-par when better stuff is coming.

i saw some of these and the Marvel Anime variants at the comic shop in the mall the other day, what are these under so I can look them up on Amazon? I need them in my life but always forget the names for the specific type. I know the mall taxes out the ass for them.
