The New X-Force

No, but that's a flawed analogy. You don't have to create a hitman to switch gears and actually use him as a hitman. Logan's been on the X-Men for years and just been forced to play (more or less) by Scott's rules. Now Scott is officially opening the "let's kill our enemies" chapter of the rulebook and using X-Force to do it. Rogue formed her own proactive group of X-Men before this on Scott's authority, and it was understood by pretty much all involved that Scott had final say on whether the team lived or died. Iceman even confronted him about exactly that just before MC. The buck stops with Scott for both the X-Men and X-Force, as we clearly see Scott calling the shots and Logan deferring to Scott in the preview.

It's not a flawed analogy at all. You've somehow worked it out in your head that just because Scott's changed his perspective and is now turning his head the other way and actually advocating Wolverine to do what he does, that it was his idea and his efforts that actually founded X-Force. Maybe he did, but we don't know the backstory. That's all I was pointing out.

Fair enough. It certainly looks like he formed this incarnation of X-Force in MC and is re-forming them in the first issue of their series, but there could be pieces of the puzzle that we haven't seen. I doubt it, but it could be.

That's all I was pointing out.

On a completely unrelated note, I've got one more disc to go on Season 3 of Lost. That Ben; he's ****ing crazy. :wow:

He killed like, 90% of the Dharma Initiative. He's looney tunes. I've been gravitating towards Desmond this season. I like him a lot.

Yeah, he's ****ed up in the head, but he's also really crafty and manipulative, and he seems to genuinely believe in what he's doing.

He believes it because he's ****ed up, though. He is an incredible manipulator.

Crazy people are the best. I think I liked Charlie most when he was all dark and creepy because everyone thought he was on crack again.

I hated it. I want Charlie to find someway to be genuinely useful instead of forcing himself into situations where he's not the right fit, and ultimately ****s up. He's a good guy. He's just misunderstood. A lot.

I figured he would redeem himself eventually. And I was right, so it worked out.

I think it's still obtuse enough. Sorry if I did. But you'll probably find out by the end of the weekend anyway, right?

There's a place next to the video place that has the best lemonade ever. I'm making a day out of it. Ah, lazy weekends.

Well, you could Arnold Palmer that ***** up. I've fallen in love with Arnold Palmers lately.

Do you buy the "official" Arnold Palmer, or do you just mix them?

I just mix them at fast food places and order them at restaurants. I doubt the restaurants have any official Arnold Palmer.

The nectar of the gods.

I've had the boxed version:

Only I just had the tea/lemonade one, not some nasty peach lemonade thing.

Arnold was a true visionary. I have his autograph on a golf ball somewhere in my dad's house.

I mostly just know him from his signature drink. I admire its deliciousness, though.
